TOTOウォシュレット - TOTO Washlet Commercial with Jun Togawa

This commercial from the 80's is for a spraying toilet from TOTO. Ms Togawa says something like.

“Gee folks…you wash your hands when they are dirty, don’t you? You wouldn’t wipe dirt off your hands like this, would you? Well, duh, using only paper ain’t gonna work. Your ass really demands you wash it with water too.”

Jun Togawa was a musician and actress beginning her musical career in the early 80s. She was known for her rather insane character, Unusual/Disturbing lyrics and wide vocal range which set her apart from other bland cute singers. Her deeply uncommercial attitude kept her away from major "pop" success, but she survived as an influential and respected underground music figure both solo and as the lead singer of Guernica (a band that did avant-garde music in a retro 1920's and 30's cabaret style) and Yapoos (techno-pop/rock band). She still performs these days, and i have even seen perform with Michiro Endo (Legendary punk rock musician).
