Anime Manga Art Drawing speed paint Rozen Maiden suiseiseki

Amazing. These guys don't use a mouse, but a light pen, preferably on the screen itself.
But I'm amazed at the fact he hardly uses any layers... Only near the end he has about 7 layers. 

I'm just a simple vector drawing guy doing simple stuff in CorelDraw, not as detailed as this... Would only attempt this if I had a wacom tablet or something like that.

I tried messing with tablets about ten years ago, they just didnt seem to work well at the time. Maybe they have come along a lot farther than before?
