This is ideal for those with no prior knowledge of Japanese at all. There are a total of 52 episodes. Funny enough, I don't have episode 1 or 9 =S. I did all of these lessons a couple of years back, they are very nice, I wish some company would make a new, more modernized similar series. I agree the first announcer person is really annoying, and unfortunately she only changed half way through the series (to a Japanese person, which is much better) There are also two books that go with this series, having them as well is very useful, as they give vocabulary, complete episode scripts, further examples and exercises.
