I know there's a stacked car garage, not bicycle. Space is a real problem in japan, huh?

I remember seeing a multi-storey bike park somewhere along the Chou-line in the direction of Shinjuku.

I think it's a bike park ^^;

We need those things in Singapore, I think we'll have more spaces to park our bicycles with those contraptions...

They must have enough muscle mass apparently.
I conclude that those who's bikes are on the top must be working out daily.

lifting a normal bike isn't all that hard. The most I'd worry about is getting a bit of grease from the chains on your clothing haaha^_^;

There must be some mechanism to allow the bike to get closer to its owner, thus making it easier to put and take back (Lock-Release?).

What if you're so short/weak you can't even reach or lift the thing up? You're basically late.

If I could think of a cost effective way to store lots of bikes, under cover, I'm sure it would make a good business.
