Im pretty sure he didnt mean that.. I was just playing. I dont know, I bet the cast off models sell more units. Sometimes an artist has to whore a little to get the cash.

8 years ago when I watched Eva I have decided to get ONE Rei figure, but until right now I still cant find the one what I want the most!Because to me, all Rei figure are almost equal quality. Therefore, I only want to have one Rei. (OoO) there are too many of them! (*O*) all very charming! (M0M) all makes me moe when I see them! (@o@) Now there is another one to confuse me! (T_T) still cant decide which I want the most

Agreed, all the ones they do to make her look sexier make her look different. I havent seen very many that look like the anime.

that figure version of Rei has a big huge XDDD i love Shunya Yamashita's version of Rei Ayanami but only in his drawings. the figure version looks more less of Rei Ayanami imo

I have a lot of Rei figure and all of them is nice. Rei from shunya is great although not like rei but i love it and already order. Rei from movic is great to perhaps this is the best rei i ever seen in PVC. i must order it but i hope the detail is the same with the relase

geez at 5,250 yen it makes you wonder are you paying for the license or the actual figure? the sculpt is solid but the pose is also generic (at 1/6 scale it "may" be acceptable), like to see more of other offerings in the links given links.
This version is more realistic compare to "The Shunya One". It is more align to the original Anime (Which is one of my fav anime), with Rei's sad expression. But my comment is that i don't quite like the posture. Her standing posture kind of funny and out of place.....hmmm As for the Shunya version, well it is more sexy and i would categorize as the ecchi version with her black "pantsu" calling to all. My final decision, i still prefer the ecchi version. LOL.
