This is quite old but funny for those who didn't know.
Mc Donalds marketing team wasn't in the know about what "I'd Hit It" means to us netizens.
They released banners just as you see in the screen shots.
To us it sounds like Mc Donalds wants us to F*ck their burgers...

Are we all now so jaded by ubiquitous commercialism that we can no longer enjoy things that suggest marketing execs are glaringly un-hip?

Another example of a marketing strategy that's trying to ride on an 'infamous' internet meme. It's just Too bad that they're doing it wrong, but at least we're getting some laughs out of it.

Wow... they messed up, big time. lol. I cant believe they did that... they really should do more research... or maybe... they did.... and they're trying to de-perve the phrase? lol Either way, very funny hehehe

@ Benjamin Takeyo: Yay! Another person who uses "Ara ara" I've been using it again because of Aria the Animation. Before I used it cos of Mutsumi in Love Hina lol.

@Meimi132, kind of like that ad campaign in NY, US that used the phrase "get brained" for a schoolastic campaign. Which means to get head from a girl. Sigh.. just go ask a younger kid people!

am I the only one that finds the fact that he says: "I'm a dollar menu guy." hilarious? It would certainly imply that other items of similar cost would also appeal to him?

I remember this. A comic in the funnies page did a little, what I call a "make fun of session" on that campaign, where everyone that used "Big Mac" in their song or whatever got royalties.
