2GB SD Micro memory cards are now available in Akiba for about 2,000 yen (18 USD). Cheaper or more expensive in your region? I remember my first desktop well over 10 years ago - the drive was 4GB! I got a 4GB Micro SD card for $10 CDN, now thats cheap.
I have no idea how big the drive of my first computer was, all I know is that it had Windows 3.1 and that it always counted till 16000KB during the boot. ^^
I believe the 16000KB thingie was your PC's ram/memory back then....
that's pretty cheap for all I know... btw, my first desktop was a 486DX2-66, with 8MB RAM and a 500MB HD, lol...
btw², 2GB SD micro cards seem to cost around 33 USD down here...

yup, thats pretty darn cheap, but i'm still waiting for prices to go down on sony's memory stick duo. i remember my first computer...only had 3GBs on my HD, didn't even know what ero was back then, surfing the newly born internet with my 28k dail up...those were the good old days.

for comparison's sake, I got a 2GB Sony Memory Stick PRO Duo for 44 USD (80 BRL)... how much does it cost where u guys live? lol, lots of people are still using 56k dial-up around here... broadband connection prices in Brazil are a major kick in the nuts comparing with most countries...
4GB Memory Stick PRO Duo goes for around S$88 (US60) in my place.

Costs about 22USD here the last time I checked. 10 years back the HDD I had on my pc was a Quantum Fireball with 2GB of disk space ^^; Still have it around with me and it's working!

in usa i got a 2 gig kingston micro sd for 40 dollars i think its cheaper now maybe but thats was the price about 6 months ago its only 28 dollars now usd

i bought a new phone last week. it came with a free 512MB micro sd. i needed a bigger capacity one so i bought a toshiba 1GB micro sd for only S$18 (1370YEN, US12). what a bargain! ('~')
Yeah, 18USD is really REALLY cheap for a 2GB...you know you can prolly make some extra cash if you stock up on those and sell it to people in other countries with overpriced micro SD...you could prolly charge 25-30 bucks and there would be takers...

I just picked up an 8GB MicroSD for my R4 Revolution. It was only $70. ^_^

Damn, I wish I could have gotten mine that cheap. The lowest price I could find is 32 USD online.
I'm lucky I got mine for $43 Canadian from Costco... and that's considered cheap around here. Other stores sells them at about $55-65. OUCH!
