Shes up for pre-order due out January.
What is it about this figure that you personally like?
For me its the eyes, face and pose.
If the image looks distorted its because I replaced it with one I took at the last Wonfes - refresh your browser cache.

Alter just updated their webpage with the info on the upcoming KOS-MOS Swimsuit Ver. scheduled for January 2009 release. I don't know if you guys were informed on this earlier, but the only shocking news, atleast for me, is that KOS-MOS is scaled at 1/6!! O_O She's standing at a freekin' height of 30 cm. Height comparison with the previous KOS-MOS Ver.4 here. She's superbly nice though XD Reservations for her should open today, together with Teana Lanster ^^

I never had any bad experiences about them. They always arrived on time and packing was superb. Sorry to hear you had bad experiences. I only had a problem one time, but everyone is allowed to make mistakes.

Well its not only me, there are many others. If you go to happysoda.com and read the comments for the Queens Gate Alice post, you'll see a number of comments with those dissatisfied with KN. That's pretty good that karma has been on your side though. ^^

I placed a pre-order for Kotobukiya Kureha and Kid Nemo never sent it. No word whether new stock would come in or what.

So I was screwed; the figure was sold out everywhere. I swore never to shop there ever again. Good thing I have alternative suppliers, ones who are much more reliable and do not screw me over.

The same exact thing happened to me with Kid Nemo over the (Alter) Dark Saber by Solid Theater just the other week. They took a WHOLE month before telling me that the in stock item I had purchased was actually out of stock. they didn't even tell me until I had e-mailed them looking for it. During that time she had sold out at all the other reliable stores I knew!

I never pre-order a figure before, but this KOS-MOS figure might change all that... Do you guys think this beauty will be purchaseable if I were to be in Japan on January on shops there? I highly doubt it but not too sure how crazy it gets in Japan when it comes to release of awesome figure as this one. Should I play safe and try to pre-order now instead?

Well, why not? You can always cancel your online preorder in case you change your mind. Most online store will allow you to do that without charging you for it, as long as the figure has yet to be released.

Online preorders disappear fast for popular figures.

doesn't that mean ppl can take advantage of this system to 'book/chope' the figure and decide to cancel later if the price isn't right? sounds like what fellow singaporeans would do, hahaha!!!

That's quite a nice figurine of KOS-MOS but I prefer her with her gun. I guess I have a thing for chicks posing with large, oversized guns.

Plus the price is like O_o

I usually avoid swimsuit figures...but this KosMos is so bautiful. Although I would actually prefer it if she were in a kneeling pose. But I'm not sure I can afford that price tag anyway :( I have other very pricey figures I want to keep my pre-orders on.

1/6, that's pretty huge... I have Alter's 1/6 bikini figure of Rider ("Fate/stay night") and while it's a great figure... after some time you notice the difference with your 1/8 size figures, and 1/6 size dones usually tend to look a little less well finished due to the larger scale as imperfections are more apparent.
But it looks sekushii...

I sincerely thank you for this posting Danny. I saw listings for this but didn't pay it any attention, but upon looking at her, hearing the news of the size and then going to KidNemo (to see how much they were charging, wasn't actually gonna buy anything from them since some imaginary person canceled my order for DOAX2 Ayane) and seeing the photos. She is actually quite beautiful, I think she might compliment my swimsuit rider, who is also quite huge.

Love the pose and hair. Nice one Alter!
