I don't think there is any restriction on what they copy. I saw in the news last week that the police in France had found around a ton of copied chocolate. It was of really poor quality but in paper telling that it was high quality. It goes without saying that it's illegal to put the name of some other company on your product. I don't know if they figured out who actually produced this so I will not blame China, even though it's a likely candidate for such production.

Hahaha. Really though, if you're gonna copy a product won't you at least try to play it off and NOT copy what it looks like? Or is their marketing strategy just that? And they took out tennis and replaced it with pingpong! Haha how Chinese. no offense.

i love how in the commercial they said "It is released, the indoor exercising gaming system that is sweeping across the world right now...the vii" How misleading.... Definitely not the first time they tried to copy gaming systems...i remember around 10 years ago, there used to be VCD players in china that would play games ...with identical PS1 controllers.

I love how they use a chubby kid. But at least they only have 12 games with horrible slow laggy graphic. They don't even have a sensor bar. Why do Chinese rips so much stuff off?? Why can't they make it look original and name with the idea of motion sensing? I am very disappointed at them. If they want to they can easily make original games and system that isn't a rip off, I think who ever is making the Vii would make more money if they have an original idea instead of a knock off.

Wow! I wonder what will Wii react towards this console. Anyone? Speaking of imitation. Has anyone seen imitation of Smart Cars from China? Benz was irritated by the sales volume from the imitation Smart car and sued them. Unsure of the conclusion so anyone know?

Ive said it before and I will say it again, the big N shouldn't have ignored the big market in China at the start. Now that the clone has made a head start they will have a harder time to sell the wii in China next year.
