This guy needs to make at least twenty copies of his anime in one go. Anybody out there who burns stuff for friends all the time?

Wow. Now that's a professional backup center. That one must aim to save every anime currently aired on TV.
Seems also too organized to be real! The drawback? A huge electricity bill.

Yeah that line up of remotes is insane. I wonder if he's labeled them in order, or something. So he can just pick up one and operate that single player... still... wow.

i see 20! (well 21 if i miscount) lol, he should make his own controller. they all have the same function anyway. press 1 button and they all record and stop. (universal controller >_> switch between controller)

I share anime with my brother, but I do it over the LAN, so I don't have to pay money for DVD-Rs. We don't share too many tastes, as he likes Real Robot series and I prefer anything with magic or bishoujo, though we agree on super robots. ^_^

Hmm, rarely burn DVDs for friends, rather, they came by and copy from my PC (or over the LAN)

That's what a Capture Card is for.

I have a professional broadcast card with an input box so I can plug just about any input into it and capture in both analog and digital, so I can capture digital HDTV losslessly. ^_^

I mostly just use it for capturing video from video game systems to use on my blog.

I may be wrong but I think I see a Yamaha AV Amplifier in there ^^, I got ont of those in my room, another one in the living room and a SR8500 in the basement for watching movies and stuff.

He sure has a huge number of DVD players/recorders, I got two dvd recorders and 7 players XD

Correction the AV Amplifier might be an Onkyo instead of a Yamaha which is bigger

Um...wow.

Nice set up.

I personally would not want a rig like that (I'll take the TV though). I just loan the DVDs to friends if they want to see it.

with my crappy memory though, I should start a check out system so I remeber who the heck i've loaned things to

isn't that illegal. I remember a friend of mine talking about VCR's when they first came out in the 1970's and how they were almost pulled from the market because of the potential of piracy of this magnitude.

All I can say is well, (hard to believe but not surprised.)

But on some neutail notes, I like his set-up it si state of the art.
