Well, I'm quite late in doing this, but better late than never, right? Here is my current desktop, I usually keep Rocketdock on autohide, just took it off for the screenshot. :p I know, it's quite messy. But I also never spend time on my desktop anyway. Most of the time I have a browser or My Documents open. That's where I do all of my work. Also, there is a method to all of the madness on the desktop, I sorted those folders by content, I bet you can guess what's in some of them. ^^ High res of my wallpaper available here.

I believe I got the Konafox icon from rocketdock.com, their icons section. If you would like me to upload the photoshop I did of it, let me know. Had to PS out the background.

You can always try organizing folders within other folders. That's generally what I do to keep my desktop icons to a minimum. Awesome wallpaper choice. Most all of those folders already have multiple other folders inside of them. I keep so many folders inside other folders that the filenames become too long for windows to handle sometimes. xD I don't keep everything on my desktop though, that's only the stuff I haven't sorted through yet. I keep all of my sorted files inside of My Documents.
