I looked around and couldn't find any english websites for pre-order. I checked both goodsmile and shuraki website. goodsmile's release page haven't been updated yet, and according to http://heiseidemocracy.com/, 26th is the pre-order date release, and 27th mid night is the real pre-order release date. So I guess I got wait couple more hours to see it pop on HJL or some other site
Well my dealer is rather slow in opening up the Shuraki preorders, they usually open a week after the major online stores have open theirs, so its a patience wait for me. Thankfully they are good and I've already secured the first 3.

Hobby Search is about the only place with reserves still available, just got mine in. Apparently Hobby Stock and KidNemo sold out in a matter of minutes. Places like HLJ and Play-Asia haven't even listed her yet.
I have a few questions. Not so much about Needa but rather the Good Smile Shuraki line she is the most recent addition to. I really liked a few of the figures that came before her in the series(and love Needa too) but I was curious. What were they all about? I mean were they from a fighting game or a eroge or manga I was unfamiliar with? It seems that these lovely ladies have back stories of some sort. Shame on you Danny, your our man on the scene and you haven't filled us in of these. I mean the figures look great but I'd like to know more about them.
The shuraki series are conpletely original designs from a partnership with goodsmile and red entertainment (Who were responsible for the Sakura Taisen series). Aside from the figures and the drama CDs which are included in the box, there is no other media for the line. There is some backstory to it, but the only way you can learn of it is to be fluent in japanese and listen to the audio CDs in the figure kits and also reading the artbook. It's some basic story about a great evil rising again and select girls are able to wield a special power to defeat it... Personally, Needa is in my "do not want" box. *dodges projectiles* It just hasn't grabbed me like the first 3 did. The 5th one looks good tho...
Got mine from Hobby Search at around 1 AM Pacific Standard Time... still available. I thought it'd be sold out by now. I also picked up Miku Nendoroid and Elise MMS ^_^

Seems like Needa arouses much less interest than previous boxes (maybe girls with guns are less famous than girls with swords hehe), since she is still available at e-stores like HobbySearch. Or maybe GSC has plan many more unit to release?

They may not, they always seem to be a little lack luster when it comes to anything by Shunya Yamashita. They've not listed many of his works in the past.

I gave up on HLJ, called my local dealer and got a pre-order from him.
HLJ finally got this in for preorder. You'll get a 5% discount if you order it before, or on, the 18th of December. Ahh, at last! :D
