Now I`m listening Dynasty Warriors 6 on my room, I want to ask you, people. Have ever play a game for this saga? I`m a true hard-fan of this games, no matter many says all look the same... If anyone don`t know what games I`m talking about, DW is a serie of massive beat em`up in which you asume the control of a officer and fought versus an entire army! The games is based in the Romance of the Tree Kingdoms like Ikkitousen o Koihime Musou, so you can play with characters like Guan Yu(Kanu), o Lu Bu(Ryofu), but with a very different look, je,je. I have most of the games, even the first one, the fighting game, and also the Orochi Warriors, the crossover with the Samurai Warriors characters, one the best of the serie for me. i've played the series from DW3 (seen older bro play the 1st) after DW4, i kinda stop since its getting really repetitive (same story, some new character(aka. time glitch), also same gameplay)

I've been a huge fan of the Dynasty Warriors series since DW 2 on the PS2. My favorite incarnation of the series is honestly Dynasty Warriors: Gundam, because it's more proof that Giant Mechs make everything better. Looking forward to Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 2 later this year, too!

Koei is just milking the series for all it's worth by coming out with a "new" version every year. It's no different from what EA does with its annual EA sports games release, which are not only more of the same but of dubious quality as well.

I like the game a lot. Played all the ones on PS2 and am playing Orochi on PSP now whenever I had some spare time.

When I bought my PS2, DW3 was the big hit. but the sequels didn't offer anything new IMO.

About DW 6, the game is a little more tactic now, is important keep the morale of your allies high, claiming enemy bases, giving them help when need, and of course, beating all foe you find on battlefield. You have to siege castles, climbling walls to beat defense troops and help your eingeenrs build battering rams and catapuls. Graphics are good, finally you can see 100 or more sprites on screen wihtout ¨fog¨ and stuffs, the effects, musics, nice, but the problem to me is that there are less characters that in DW 5, many of them don`t have unique style fighting, in fact the characters desing and moves are different, in some cases is great, but in others I prefer the old fashion...

I've played DW 2 & 3. Haven't opened 4 yet (yes, DW4! yes, I know it's been a while XD). Played the first Samurai Warriors. It's become really tactical that I can't complete the mission. I just wanna senselessly beat up everything in sight! Why won't they let me do that >_< I liked the DW: Gundam since it's different from the other series. Maybe Koei should make a deal with the creators of Ikki Tousen & Koihime Musou to make game characters out of them. Complete with battle damaged look as seen in Ikki Tousen lol.

I'm more of a Samurai Warriors/Sengoku Musou fan, but I do love all the Koei hackn' slash games. I love how they merged both worlds together into Warriors Orochi. It made my dream team of Yukimura Sanda, Sun Ce, and Sun Shang Xiang a reality.
