I have two. One is a launch system, and the other is a slim model. I keep hearing about the better contrast and such on the new PSP, but I haven't heard anything about them fixing the real problem with the PSP's current screen. The horrible refresh rate that causes insane motion blur.

The new screen has half the response time, that might help. But still, I wouldn't go as far as buying a 3rd O_o.

I have the original piano black version. I think PSP will be coming out with a new built-in 8GB memory.

That certainly looks good IMO, but I wonder what this improvement will do to battery life? BTW I have the Star Wars bundle white version.

Currently I have the first model and I'm not going to change so soon. It seems to have little improvement and it only seems that is in order to avoid the current 2000 situation, every one of them is going custom firmware meaning that sonny is losing money. There is probably a change in hardware to avoid it.

Based on this pic it looks like the improved picture is a software upgrade. If true then just wait till you can upgrade your old PSP rather than buy a new one. I am sure someone will make it available.

Maybe...but you can clearly see that the Sony Logo is on the left side and the Playstation logo is gone. Although it's already been confirmed that there'll be a 3000 series anyways so something improved is bound to happen [mostly cosmetic wise]

Where's the light reflection on the "improved" screen PSP in the foto?? I dunno about the pic, but if it that great an improvement, I think it will benefit new owners mostly. I am happy with the way the current Slim Model displays video and games. Motion Blur is a little annoying sometimes, I have to agree on that point. A bit better contrast is not going to make me buy a new PsP, however a very good deal on a trade in.....

psp 3000? I just have the original black psp. My cousin won a slim psp and wanted me to hack it like mine is but I didn't know how to do it for a slim one :-p Anyway, I don't know if I will spend any $$ on another PSP.. I don't use mine as much as my cousin does

Anti glare would be so useful for when playing outdoors, the only other thing I would like would an upgrade to the wireless (Then again I don't use wireless much anyways so why am I complaining?).
