It's a common tactic used in anime and manga. A nude scene that just happens to feature a strategically placed item that covers the "eyes" or that "special area". Sometimes it's a leaf (as in this example), sometimes it's a glass or mug sitting on the table, or sometimes it's even something as simple as someone's hand in the foreground. What are the most unique "strategically placed cover items" that you've come across? Also, what are some of your most memorable moments of strategic cover?

Southpark's "Major Boobage" is a nice example of this, heh. I haven't seen anything out of the ordinary, Except "strategically placed cover items" that covered everything BUT the special areas.

Yeah that scene was funny like hell. When Misato picked up the can, I was gasping and going OMFG, but then it turns out there was yet another smaller can just tall enough to cover up Shinji's dolphin. xD

Reminds me of the Evangelion ep were Shinji comes out the bath naked because of PenPen, but his privated were covered by the beer can. Misato removes takes away the can and then it's cover by toothpicks XD I wish I could remember one that involves a girl ._.

Most unique is easily Metal Gear Solid 2. Raiden naked in the torture room, if he leans against the torture device to pretend he's still locked in a straw in a soda can will strategically hide his dolphin. I laughed so loud when I first saw it.

Not anime but in the UK there was some live action TV ad -- I don't remember the product -- it was set in a nudist colony so everywhere you looked there were naked people. As the camera moved around, various objects like a beer bottle, a sausage and so on were "accidentally" put in front of everyone's rude bits. Very clever and funny.
