Last time I posted a news item about free hugs it was two cute girls in Harajuku! This time, its two hideous gaijin! Me and my Norweigan pal decided to give it a go, and it was great fun! More insights at my blog. Have you ever done free hugging before? Have you ever seen it done where you live? Do you know how it all began? Some guy thought I had stolen the idea from an advert - haha.

Me and my friends gave out free hugs at the midnight opening for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. That was great, I got to hug a guy wih a great cosplay of Mad-eye Moody. The last time I saw people give it was @ the Beijing Olympic opening ceramony aired live in Trafagar Square, they showed it on a huge 10m wide screen. All of Chinatown were there, some girls were giving out free hugs. Best hugs evar ^^

I saw this guy one time at the mall holding a "free hugs" sign and walking around. He had such a bad case of acne that it looked contagious!!! No thanks, go hug your self. :D

Saw some of these when I was out and about in Leeds with the girlfriend (ex) a few months ago, seemed to be getting a pretty good load of hugs from the folks of Leeds. I didn't take up the offer im afraid :/
