Can someone please explain to me why she is virtually being treated like the second coming of Jesus among the otakus? Sure she is quite a looker, but the level of adulation to her is beyond belief. I view her as a 2nd rated seiyuu. If she can leverage this break of her she got from Haruhi / Konata, and position herself as an idol/actress, than I have nothing but respect for her.
