Ver. ka means "Katoki Version", or the guy who designed this particular Gundam.

I don't get it. Is there a reason for it being clear? I can't remember the RX-78 ever having a stealth mode...

The clear part is just for exclusivity ^_^. Something to make this a special edition. Nothing else. Just for show I guess haha

That's sweet, I'd say that would be even cooler if it was the Perfect grade model, then you would be able to see all the inner workings.

I think they made set of clear armor for the PG Gundam for precisely that reason. Also included some extra weapons as I recall.
