Well, is durian season here in singapore. Always enjoy durian casue is freshy. Just wondering. Is there durian season over there in your country?
Yes, in Vietnam. I don't like this fruit though. And I have nightmares of my sister putting it in the refrigerator and make every thing smells like it. Well to each their own, I also know ppl who obsess over eating it.
I like eating it every now and then. But I also cannot stand that smell which stays in the refrigerator for several days when stored in there.
All of our durian is imported from Asia, so I guess it's in season whenever it's in season on the other side of the globe. ^^
Yeah, the stuff they got here super is frozen and have no flavor at all, oh did I mention it super expensive too?
yeah i wanna eat
Sorry, I am gonna pass (I cannot stand the smell/taste...) Nice picture though ^^
i like durians! hehe hey if you like durians, you got to try the 4 seasons durian pancake at AMK hub basement. damn bloody goooooooooooooooooood! er to me.. hahaha
Durian PANCAKE?! Mmm... worth a shot 8D

It's Thai
Du~what? I don't think we have this in Portugal.
Durian. Exclusively Asian. Westerners can't stand the taste, but we love 'em. Tried the orange-coloured ones yet, Rokku?
Yap, Tried it. Tasted so Great
x_x I grew up in HK, and I still can't stand them. I can barely even get close to one without the smell making me want to throw up.
I always wanted to smell and eat this thing I hope when I come to SIN there is Durain season, so I can decide on my own if I like it *drools*
I've heard of this but, never tasted it before.
Hard to get nice durian this day! All those selling out there one are cheap and not so tasty one (around USD3 u get 5 durian sure not so nice).
Looks like i`m going to eat durian 2 days straight

Believe it or not I do not eat fruits therefore I do not eat durians -_-

ah my fave, my family really grazy about it, when the season comes. My mom bought abot 10 durians and finish it only in one week dan buy them again on the next week
hate it...the smell puts me off lol
Same here. Can't stand it...
I get viciously hungry when I smell Durian. Oh, the sweet smell and taste...
Ahhh...durian. There's no durian season here, although I do wish that it exists. Nothing beats opening one. One thing I miss after moving to the US from Indonesia. Have told my fellow coworkers, and they are intrigued enough to brave the smell...that is, until they really smell it in person ^_^;
We got a lot of those in the Southern Provinces. took me some getting used to but eventually loved them particularly the Durian Ice Cream.
I get it whenever i can, but I make sure to savor it XD
ah my fave fruit after melon:) i didn't like locals durian in here... but thai durian are so great :3 unfortunately i can't eat it very much... coz it will make my head hurts the next morning:(
canada have frozen durians at the supermarket lol can't smell it tho ^^; haven't had durians for a long time lol
Yup those frozen durians have no smell or flavor
AHH!! DURIANS! I hate those things with a passion of a thousand fiery suns. My parents love it though....
Hate Durians too. Smell is unbearable, my parents no longer buy it because the smell gets all over the refrigerator and gets into everything. Last time they bought 2 our house stank for a good 2 weeks. Pass, pass, pass.
I love it. It's good stuff to me.
Finally its Here! let kill some durians! =D
u mean kill someone with durians?
Well, over here at Pulau Tekong (Military Training Island in Singapore), we have been going all over the island hunting for durians for this pass two weeks.
I wonder how Come Most people hate the smell of this fruit i simply dont get it!!! as for me i kinda enjoy its Scent!! no kidding!!!
Durian sure is stinky, but the flavour is really good! I have been to some places in Asia where they often have western tourists-- there are signs asking that people do not bring the fruit nearby! :-) Wait... why is this post labeled "Music?" :-)
i've heard before that to accept durian, one must taste it first. and i agree now that i've had durian as filling in a steamed bun. but prior to, i would never get near durian.. the smell was that bad to me before. i can stand the smell now though. give it a taste if you haven't yet and are thrown off by the smell.
I've never had one. What do they taste and smell like?
We have that here as well, only with a different name. They are called "Guanabana" here. And there is a tree at home as well ^^. They are sweet when ripe, and they smell dunno, kinda bad lol. But they taste great I think.
ah, the good ol durian. every time i travel and when i come back and it's durian season, i leap for joy, lol. personally i love the fruit. the smell isn't that bad to me.
I kinda hate it...the King of the Fruit Durian..that's what we call in Malaysia..
