Fire Cat

Fire Cat
A man aged 21 died after running into an apartment that was blazing with fire trying to save a cat.
The police later discovered that the man initially escaped the fire but ran back into the building to save the cat.
What would you have done in each of these scenarios...
1. It was your pet left in the apartment.
2. It was a member of your family left in the apartment.
3. Your Candy Girl or rare Gunpla/figure collection in the apartment. The rare items together are worth 20 million USD.

2) Go get family member.
3) Consider, not go (Items can be replaced. Life forms can't.)

Very silly, would go back for family member or pet, which amount to same thing.

I live alone so I have to be a little resourceful. I used to be in the Disaster management Team in our university and I learned that preparation is always the best weapon with any disaster. I created an escape plan for me when something like fires happen.
[1] put cat in the his box
[2] get them to get out first (if one of them is around)
[3] 2 large container bags to stuff my Medical books (cause they're expensive and I've got tons of notes stuck in there), My novels and manga then figures..uniform and shoes..and my rice cooker.

then run like hell ^^ and crash on one of my friends house. haha xp

I think most of us would just panic.
Congrats to the guy for being this brave.
What I wish I would do is evaluate the situation and try my best to save all those... family first, pet second and collection third.
But I really can't say what I would really do.

1) As cold as it might sound, pets can be replaced.
2) Without a second though I would go back if it was within my power to save them.
3) If it was worth that much I would probably have a nice insurance for my collection.

1.} family first~
2.) i'm expecting that pet can handle themselves most of the time , since they're 4-legged and good at passing things by or even jumping~
3.) go grab some while rescuing your family members and let them carry it out - or just find the vault of your parents where they stash some money and throw it somewhere so that they would just think it was gone right after the incident ^^"""

Instead of blindly rushing in, I'll see how out-of-control the fire has become. If it's too far gone, then rushing in is only going to be a futile gesture. Worse, someone else goes in after me and both of us end up dead.

At emergencies like these, one cannot afford to make rash, emotional decisions.

Dogs, I'd go back for them if I thought I had a good chance of getting them out.
The cat would get left though, she wouldn't come back in for me!!
Figures and stuff would just have to burn - you may not be able to replace some of them, but not worth risking your life over ^_^
