Check out this awesome Street Figher trailer at Jyohoya. No details on what this is at the moment.
assuming from the trailer the game would be 3D, and for that i'll go 'meh', so much for the wait all this year and they made it 3D instead of 2D i guess i can only go back playing the awesome Guilty Gear XX series
NICE! I'm a big Street Fighter fan. Played every title. I wonder if they're gonna change the gameplay ie. add things like side step and whatnot. Hmm anywyas can't wait for more info.
is this a trailer for a new movie? or just a game?
it's for a game
Just to post the official link... http://www.streetfighterworld.com/
i hope this isn't a 3D game like the trailer suggests, because a streetfighter wouldn't be right if its not in 2D. i personally think it's a 2D fighter with all the sprites done in HD by the guys at UDON, the next installment in the SF series with an actual numeral instead of the usual super hyper ultra remix expansions.
just don't keep your hopes too high....... :(
I knew this was coming but its still early to see what it will turn out to be
The only 3d street fighter i can think of was the one on PS2...which IMO sucked pretty badly. This one looks great though, even if its just a trailer.
cool.....!!
Yesss another Street Fighter game. Its almost been 10 years since the last one!!! Cant wait to spend all my life trying to get good in the game lol!!!
LOOKS DAMN COOL!!!!!!! Brings back good memories.... ahhhh. Back when a time when Arcades were popular and fun. Street Fighter was a CLASSIC, the most popular arcade game, it was cool and fun. Long live OTAKU CULTURE!!!!!
The best was Street Fighter II World Warrior edition with all the bugs. Was really cool seeing Guide do the shadow/magic/invisible throw over and over again on fallen opponents. :3
This coming from Capcom for their "big announcement" to please the PS3 crowd, after they gave away MH3 and canned the PS3 version. Now if they want to further piss off the PS3 crowd, they can make this a non-exclusive. They already pissed them off a bunch by announcing the Lost Planet port.
I was a complete fan of Street Fighter in the old days and began with the second (like countless ones). My favorite entry is SF Zero/Alpha 3. I was much disappointed about SF III (a bit like for the King of Fighters series after Kof 2000 -when SNK died-), and I have yet to see the videos of the actual game, not the teaser/introduction, the available characters and the storyline (the last two being major weaknesses of SF III) to see if it is decent for a sequel. It is so odd to see a fourth installment after so many versions of Street Fighter II... Street Fighter III and EX didn't have much sequels in comparison.
