Here are some pics of my room, or rather, the working area of my room. It's kinda messy in this place but I think that's just because there are really a lot of stuff in here. I've been making military models for about 5 years now and just have recently gone into mechs and cars for a change. Figure-wise though I only have a Belldandy figure and a Revoltech Danboard but my gundam/mech collection is what's growing. I'm also currently studying architecture hence the drawing table. Right now, since it's summer vacation here, I've been building models a lot. BTW, that blue poster under the shelf is actually a banner of a rival school. I picked it up in the arena after the game where we beat them for the championship a couple of years ago!!!! (Maniacal laugh)BWAHAHAHA!! My working table where my models get built. Beside Danboard is my customized Sandrock that I posted here before. Right now its in painting stage. If you look under the table, there is probably enough chemicals in my possession to blow up the whole house! A close-up of my figure and movie collection. Obviously, I download my movies ^__^ Here is my tank collection. Some are finished and some are still in-progress and even some are commissioned works (sighs) This is my mech/car collection. The Hot rod, Terran Marine, and Eva 02 are finished and the rest are about to be painted. Thanks for viewing!
Tank hobby? C00l, you should get some more figures to put on your tanks. XD
Hehehe, I'll try to work on that. Here's something: if you look at the row of figures in the close-up of the tank shelf, look for the guy in the middle with his right arm raised.....that's.....ahem, ahem.......a hitler figure O_o However, I made that one for purely historical reasons. He, udeniably goes well with German tank models......
oh i see it
Nice corner, I would like to have one like yours. ^^
that corner is the size of my room unfortionitly
Nice workplace!
Oh nice, a military hobbyist. What is your favourite model/tank you've built so far? Would be nice to see some. Will be looking forward to your 1:35 Hetzer/Jagdpanzer 38t model there. What brand is it from btw?
That's one of them commissioned works for a friend that owns a hobby shop. It's from Eduard and it's a full interior kit. Comes with PE parts of course!
dude... I need an actual hobby table, rather than a single work desk that is used for drawing, model making, painting, eating (at times), and studying. my keyboard is has speckles of paint on it... T_T
Since I'm Filipino too, how do you manage to keep your models in shape despite the humid weather?
Well the weather actually helps in the painting process. Since it's warm here the paint dries and cures faster. In terms of storage though, I just keep them off direct sunlight to prevent any damage.
I had to comment even though it's a old post. Looks like we have the same interest or at least past interest in regard to myself. I too built model tanks and other military vehicles, primarily WWII. I did that until ninth grade. I also graduate college with a design degree in architecture. Good luck to your future endeavors. PS: I'm also a Filipino.
