Seeing D_Blade drawing Mirai fanarts. Dug out a old lineart and corrected the proportions. I then CG'd it. Face still needs work on and colour adjustments. Its going to be a template where I could overlay clothes on Mirai :D I Just had to mimic Danny's censor banner
Yummy!
Nice! I see some proportion errors, but I won't nag here. ^^ I'm glad you felt inspired. Keep it up!
Hmm, I wonder. If I posted a realistic drawing of a 3D girl. Would the drawing be in the 2D girl category or 3D girl category? The mind boggles! And nice drawing. I'm really liking these personal artwork posts. I think it should have it's own section under member news.
About your question, I'd say 2.5D, which would be more of 2D than 3D, as the "3D" term is reserved for real girls... This unless I'm mistaken.
i think 3d applies to any digital work wherein you used a 3d imaging program like maya, poser, 3dstudio.. anything else is 2d. thats how i classify it.
She turns me on. ^^
Attack of the 50 ft Mirai!
It´s actually a bit hard to draw Mirai, but it´s a good picture. *blush*
Not bad not bad...but is it just me or does she look masculine? ;D
She was more masculine before o_O; her thighs needs to be more thinner and waste needs to more thinner and her bum needs to be put in a bit more ^^; Overall, she needs to be thinner ._.
There are several problems in the picture, like that huge lump of flesh on the left side of her. Is that a hip? If so, how can it become so huge? I like the face, however.
I find it hard to draw her from the side, after all, I did just took out a old drawing to do a bit of modifications ^^; There is a lot of problems with the drawing, I think I just keep on reworking till its all good ^^;;
I´m looking forward about it. ^^ I found Mirai to be medium to draw, especially if I have the exact image of how she looks like.
Don't worry, happens to me everytime. When you draw it for the first time, you find it cool... Others would probably judge it harshly since it's not them who drew it, and when you look at it again after some while has passed you see things to correct. The worst with my drawing are when they are scanned and ready to be uploaded... It's almost too late then. ^^; Thus my drawings are always unfinished (hence why they are roughs). So don't take drawing too seriously (unless it's your primary job).
Pretty cool ^^
Nice drawing.
