Namco has invited Air Gear, Tenjo Tenge and Silky Whip mangaka, Oh! Great, to join with the likes of Yutaka Izubuchi (Record of the Lodoss War), Yoshizaki Mine (Keroro Gunsou), and Hiroya Oku (GANTZ) to design a new character and join the increasing roster of Soul Calibur fighters. Her is Ashlotte and it looks like she was inspired from the Iron Maiden device. As you can see, Ashlotte lacks the bewbs unlike other of Oh! Great's girls like Ringo and Simca to name a few but what lacks on her chest makes it up on her legs. ^____^

Is it just me or is the SC4 roster getting a little too... Bloated? I mean, it's cool to have guest artists to design a character but this is getting too much. They should have just had one or 2 to keep the magic. Plus the fact that a lot of the previous characters will be returning (they always do) then this character list is going to start rivalling the king of fighters or Marvel VS capcom 2, but without the features which make such a roster neccesary!

The money and time they could have spent on balance is put into things that will earn them more money back in the long run because of SC3's fail-sales. Not to mention, this is the last game in the series, or so I heard, so why would Namco bother with balance? Their QC is now otaku-based. Who gives a heck about good gameplay, is what they will say.

I've always maintained that SoulCalibur 1 on the Dreamcast is the most enjoyable in the series. I was certain Namco will once again prove me right the moment I realized they are adding Yoda/Darth Vader into SC4. Then Namco started chucking a bunch of new characters into the mix and I knew right there and then the game balance will once again go to hell (seeing how buggy SC3 is, their QC dept had already gone to hell). This will go just as well as when they threw in Necrid (garbage character) and Link/Heiihachi/Spawn (more garbage characters).

A SG SC player that knows the game? Do you perhaps also browse The Calibur Forums? If so, then we have more than one thing in common lol. Though if you read the threads in there, regarding the new characters, you already know what I think about the game balance.

Wow, pretty nice design, like others have said, don't know if SC4 really needs it but it's still pretty nice. I only like to play Xianghau anyway :3 She is my favourite, lol.
