Shizuoka Hobby Show 2008

(Gundam(26)
Tue 2008/05/20 16:20
Didnt bother to travel to Shizuoka this year but Yoshimu-san who I went with last year uploaded a ton of pics from last weeks show.
The only thing interesting from these pics for me is the MG Musha Gundam. Having said that, I still need to finish my MG Wing Gundam and would like to do Unicorn, Destiny etc etc ToT orz.

shin musha... must buy. ^^
btw Danny what are your thoughts on having your gundam kits commissioned/built by someone else? I know it takes out the fun of building one yourself but for a busy guy such as yourself, would you consider paying a professional to build your gundam for you?

Shin Musha is a must buy.
Maybe I'll pose him in a samurai duel vs the Astray Red Frame ^^

Shin Musha looks almost good enough in that picture to convince me, but in the end it's still not my thing, and my housemate is set on it already anyway.

I, on the other hand, seem to be the only person I know who's excited about the ver. 2.0 Gundam. Anyone else? ... Anyone? *sniff*

It'll look even more great if it painted as battle worn Musha Gundam.
It'll be in one of my future project. Love the samurai sword.

Man, seeing all those pics makes me want to start getting into collecting and making Gundam models, but I know I just won't have the time (or moolah)! I see some Virtua On and Macross Plus YF models, too!!

The Shin Musha Gundam is indeed awesome.

Musha: Cry and beg for mercy! In not -SHNK!- You'll have a taste of my weapons.
ZAKU: Here's my axe instead. Take it with you.
Musha: Why... Thank you. But you'll still die anyways.
ZAKU: NOOOOOOO!!!!!

I hope the GFF Musha I bought is as posable as this one. Probably will match Musha with Exia!

Sorry to say this, but I also have the GFF of the Shin Musha. One word: FRAGILE.
Given that you can swap the armor to create Musha or Shin Musha, it tends to fall at the most minimal movement. As for articulation, quite limited, in fact, mine came with the right should joint broken, nothing that superglue couldn't fix, but stiffness remained as the price.
Don't get me wrong, overall is a great figure, but as the rest of the GFF, definitely not a toy, but more like a sculpture to show off in your desk

I was never a huge fan of the RX-78-2, so I'm not excited about the 2.0 one bit, nor am I a big fan of Musha Gundam either, so really not into that. I am, however, pretty interested in that HGUC Sazabi. Also, like all the pics everyone has posted of it, the MG Force Impulse is looking splendid as well (good to see one with the beam blade for the Excalibur not bent). That YF-19 looks absolutely beautiful. Moving on, I'm not a huge Zaku II fan either, but I gotta say that the Super HCM-Pro Zaku II Mass Production is looking really good. A lot better looking than the Char one IMHO. I Wonder if we'll ever get kits/figures of the Gekka (especially's Todo's custom one) from season one of Code Geass. Great pictures all around from your friend Danny.

Interesting Gundam with twin katanas. A bit over the top, but it definitely fits in any collection.
