Solar Powered Bra

(Otaku(46)
Fri 2008/05/16 13:36
Its a bra and its solar powered - good for charging your NDS, PSP, iPod etc when on the move. Any takers?
BTW, the site says it took 6 months to develop. Wondering if that was a typo and they really meant 6 hours.

Exactly the same thing i was thinking. If the solar panel is on the inside of your clothes, how is it supposed to collect energy? But given the shape of the bra, maybe it was meant to be worn with nothing else over it?

maybe the pic is just a prototype and theres actually a one piece bikini coming out with the same technology? you know for when you're at the beach/pool sunbathing.

so its a bra and its solar powered? and what exactly does the bra do? provide extra lift? ounce? volume? perform complex protein folding simulations? I'm confused...

I don't see any solar panels on the bra itself... just a panel slapped onto the stomach area (^_^)"

It could work but would be better if it wasn't sun powreed but somehow powered by someones own body heat, or the cold, so in cold weather you could wear it and it would be like a personal heater. Yummy- especially in the UK when you have PE outside in the dead of winter :D

I lol'd when I saw this the other day. They also made that eco bra that has a half a bowl of rice on the right cup and half a bowl of soup on the left cup and has a storage on the side for the reusable chopsticks.

They have good intentions but the design is just not practical.

It looks really good... but does it have to be a bra?

Also, what if I spill something on myself or it rains?

Will I go "~BZZT~ ~BZZT~"?
