You use pastel for the weathering effect?
I use a Tamiya weathering kit, which is kind of like a makeup compact. The stuff is sort of powdery and can be applied with a brush or sponge tool. Once topcoated, it stays on the model quite well.
cool, I like the... "veteran" air some battle damage can inspire on a kit, especially on the grunty Zaku II
Indeed, I've discovered it's very good to give a Zaku that well-loved look.
