I got this image a while ago and was wondering who the hell the girl on the background was. And then I heard news about a Tsukihime remake. Relevance? A LOT! Possibilities are: 1/ They are changing the storyline of Tsukihime 2/ It's not a remake, but actually Tsukihime 2 (The Dark Six?) 3/ It's a female version of Shiki, with a new imba-looking weapon. What do you think? :3
it would be great if a possible second season would appear since tsukihime let me hanging in the end
1/ They are changing the storyline of Tsukihime possible, maybe they're gonna adjust the story ti match with melty blood 2/ It's not a remake, but actually Tsukihime 2 (The Dark Six?) dunno bout this ^^; but I don't think there should a continuity from the first tsukihime game 3/ It's a female version of Shiki, with a new imba-looking weapon. this reminds me of kara no kyoukai whose heroine is also named shiki ^^;; CMIIW
The person in the back is actually Riesbyfe Stridberg, she's the newest playable character addition, along side Roa, to the Melty Blood franchise in the upcoming Melty Blood: Actress Again. For now, it's arcade only. As far as the canon goes, Riesbyfe is a shield knight from the church that was sent to investigate one of the earlier occurrences of the Wallachia incident. She disappeared. Her friend, Sion, defied Atlas' exclusion policy and went to investigate getting her bitten in the process, hence the beginning of Melty Blood. Riesbyfe's weapon (pictured) is the pile-bunker; it's similar to the 7th Holy Scripture (Ciel's weapon) in that it's kinda like a jackhammer on crank. It's an axe that's large enough to be used as a shield, and the jackhammer-like spike is made of blessed silver and pretty much made to go against vampires. Curiously, in Kara no Kyoukai, someone by the name of Riesbyfe sends a request to Tohko to investigate some sort of incident, I forgot what that was about.
oh..I thaught the girl in the back was sion eltnam ^^;;
Sure is a good new, the first anime was really poor, considering the story of Tsukihime...
THERE IS NO TSUKIHIME ANIME ...Although, I haven't actually watched it to confirm just how terrible it is.
Not to disappoint, but I really doubt Nasu is going to change the plot to Tsukihime. As much as I am a TM-freak and worship Nasu's writings, he has displayed a nack for not making anything original since Type Moon went commercial. Keep in mind that Mahou Tsukai no Yoru (the upcoming game) is NOT a new piece for him. Along side Fate, the plot for Maho Yoru was written a long time ago. What most TM fans are hoping for in the remake, is the long lost Sacchin route that Nasu promised but never released. Aside from that, the Tsukihime remake will likely simply feature redrawn images from Takeuchi, more event scenes, and hugely improved directing. Anyone who's played the original game can testify, the fight between Shiki and Nero consisted of two event scenes used over and over w/ the typical character sprite overlayed on scenery & text window. Of course, with a remake of the game, comes hope that they will remake the anime into something that finally does the franchise justice... >_<
The image refers to Melty Blood Actress Again... I'm glad TM decided to remake it. Loved the original and they're going to remake it with visual quality with at least on par with F/SN and (probably, since the magz that I saw said "6 heroines") Sacchin route every Tsukihime fans wanted... The remake also give Tsukihime 2 a higher probability to be released... and yeah, I do wanted a Tsukihime anime remake. Though the manga is already incredible...
