i don't think their all rich, psp's aren't even that expensive, and most kids in japan mostly have some type of hand held gaming systems, in this case its a psp. It's a train station, if you look behind you see the track and the yellow caution line.

Is that the PSP club or what? On top of that it is the silver slim ed. (Which I happen to own as well)... I'm sure they play in network over the same game on top of that.
Spoiled kids.

ROFL...
I'd probably be seating right next to those guys if I was in Japan...

I recently bought a PSP too... and it also is the white slim version.

A friend of mine also did, last week.

Interesting.. I didn't plan to buy it now, and didn't buy it because of the boost it had in sales (because of Monster Hunter).

But my DS was kinda eating some dust, and an opportunity came in which I would pay less for a new PSP... so I just took it.

And I'm really enjoying it. I got this game which even isn't much famous... called "Gurumin"... and played it 'till the end.

Which is a lot since it's been the longest time I didn't actually finish a game (except Portal and COD4).

I showed some friends my PSP just this weekend.. and it seems this will add at least 4 more sales to the PSP ranking. :P

i don't think that such scenes would be isolated in japan. it would pretty much happen in a few places i know.

and i could participate in that if i can find the right crowd (i.e. rpg-ers). unfortunately, my friends are more of racing fanatics.

In my area it's half of the picture and half of something else... but most of the time I hear people planning where to go for fun after a day of school. It's pretty serious to see what's happening in the picture. Especially that kid on the left; I hope he got his glasses from reading too much, not from the PSP...
