Super Robot Taisen Z has finally been announced for the PS2. This'll probably be the last outing of SRW on the PS2 which I hope doesn't become the truth but I do suppose it's time for Banpresto to move on. Sigh... Anyway lets talk about the game. No need to discuss because if you check out the official site, you'll see the line up. What I'm more concerned about is the way poeple reacted to the PV of SRW Z uploaded in youtube. It has a lovable audience watching it and they all reacted accordingly to each part but they just loved the appearance of Sousei no Aquarion, Eureka Seven, the Original cast introduced into the fray and my personal favorite Shinn in the Force Impulse versus Kira in Freedom. 1. Aquarion's Mugen punch was visually cool but who was that guy who screamed Mugen PUNCH! in the background? Kudo's to the guy. Maybe its the hot-blooded announcer / otaku or even better someone from JAM PROJECT. 2. Notice how Eureka's cutback drop turn doesn't show a cut-in of Renton and more notably the way she did it...Turns out the Type Zero works like a car and if you have the mad skills to drive like Takumi in Initial D then you can pull it off apparently if you can handle the G's of such an attack... 3. The Original cast are drawn well. Can't wait to see them in action. *SPOILER AHEAD* -For those of you who didn't watch Gundam SEED Destiny 4. The audience didn't react when they introduced the SEED Destiny series unlike their past reaction to the other series but when they showed Shinn demanding the sword silhouette to drop one of his Excalibur's and then forcing his love into the Freedom...Everyone just went "WOAH!" in a happy and elated way that could only mean they were delighted by this act. Hehehe. Bless their souls. Is this what they were looking for? Anyway the game plays smoothly and I bet it'll be thrilling if the transition from battlefield to battle animation is fast. The faster the transition the cooler the game.
Yeah, more SRW Fans!! you're right, when I first watched the PV and it shows SEED DESTINY (yes, I'm a SEED hater), I was like: "oh no, not hem...". But when Freedom strikes, I was like: "whoa, pretty nice beam saber action" When Impulse strikes... "HOLY SUNUFAVITCH!!" I heard that SRW Z will be a series, so be expecting Z2 and Z3, probably Z Gaiden LOL... the original looked like the @ series, in meaning that you will choose between each of them with different story each. Beautiful artwork. I really hope it's not the last SRW on PS2 yet...
You and me will get along just fine. I upgrade my console according to SRW advancement. If SRW leaves the PS2 then so shall I(With a tear in my eye).
I just hope they don't leave too soon... Imagine what kind of SRW that'll need Blu-ray... It'll probably have: - All the series that have been included in previous SRW, including Originals... - A number of minigame like OGG's card battle... - A battle gallery of all the previous SRW... - More than 200 stages... LOL
Then if they can put it on the PS2 then the graphics have to be like ACE 3. The battle scenes should look like that then they can make up for the blu-ray capacity.
You mean real-size 3D? But what if you fought something the size of Z Master or Neo Regissia? It'll be like a unit hitting a huge wall or a boss got hit by... ur, something that can't be seen... LOL
Super! At last! Aquarion! Eureka 7! finally there! and so as Gundam seed destiny! and.....so others....I wonder what would Getter robo say when he croses over with the Aquarion? because they got the same kind of transformation thingy....if you know what I mean...
I totally agree noob. They should really have a combination attack. But I don't know how it'll turn out because they fight in totally different ways...
