True that. >_<
Unless he somehow managed to conveniently semi-anchor the figures to their places, just to endure some room migration, earthquakes or other disturbances.

Seriously, my moving took a bit of placing everything back in their original box...I wonder if the person kept every single box as well xD. Perhaps in a storage facility...

Terrifying, but I admire their effort to keep things tidy. Heaven help them if there's an earthquake or they need to move house, indeed.

A Ferrari is tempting, but figures are like an insurance policy in themselves - if someone breaks into your house, there'll be nothing they want to steal!
That's one of the things I like about being an otaku.

True, I've considered that, but it's not very likely to happen where I live ^^.

haha, right on. I've had the same thought process myself on occasion. However, if they're the type of thief that gets pissed that there's nothing to steal, they may just break everything out of spite, lol.

Is that really someone's personal room or actually a shop (although I've never seen even an anime/hobby shop with so many figures crammed in one space)?

I've seen one where the computer is set up on the bed with the screen on the side because of lack of space. Things like this make me doubt my fandom. Or make me pity the otaku being milked for all their money.

Seem to remember seeing that photo a while ago. He would only have to dust about half his collection as most of them seem to be (packed into) cases. However this man is some sort of loony, cramming them all in so tight most of them aren't visible is not really an enjoyable collection!

Woah, figure overload/overkill!
I do not really envy this guy as there is vital space taken and like you said Danny, lots of drawbacks to that.
Though I must second other members in that that person is super organized.
I bet he religiously reveres to each of his figures every night and morning.
Btw the way he has organized his figures reminds me of the way I have sorted (and constantly updating the arrangement of) the drinking glasses when working in the shop of the non-gouv. association I am right now. ^^;
