Unlike the XOS, the Cyberdyne HAL exoskeleton lasts 2 hours 40 mins without being attached to a huge cord, weighs only 23kg and will be available for purchase this October and cost about 500,000 yen. The main purpose of the suit is for rehabilitation purposes. Hmmm, thats about the same price as a Candy Girl - which would you rather have? Via Response and Sankei. HAL in action below.
Oh wow, I thought it was a suit from the movie Casshern for a second there. But that's one amazing suit, and cool looking too.
Sugoi! We really are living *in* the future. Kids these days don't appreciate how fast technology is running along.
im happy, gits is finally coming true. hopefully there will be a time to create neural uplinks and eventually make it so humans can last even longer than expected. 100 years is nothing compared to 10000 years. it may not makes us immortal, but it will allows to live alot longer im all for it.
Wow I'm amazed that they have more than 2 bags of rice!!! LMAO!
Domo arigato, Mr. Roboto, Mata aoo hima de Domo arigato, Mr. Roboto, Himitsu wo shiritai You're wondering who I am Machine or mannequin With parts made in Japan I am the modern man
You'd think a robotics company would know better than to name themselves Cyberdyne, what with the Terminator and Skynet and the destruction of human civilization and all that.
And then to call the robot HAL, which is itself a known beserker robot. they really didn't think it through.
It's the beginning of the end as we know it...
I KNEW the Japanese were the cause of the destruction of mankind! Quick, everyone into the bunkers! Skynet will be online soon! :p
I'm sorry, I just laughed when looking at the first video... That guy was so fun in his expressions. I'm sure he's a comedian. I almost wanted to play the "Just Married" theme at a point... No, really!!
This is nice but no need for normal functioning people....
New Age Stormtrooper costume. Otherwise Novus lookalike (from Universe at War).
Time to save up that 500,000 yen, so I could reverse engineer the product and see what applications I can use to assist in building a Mobile Suit. Or I could just go and steal the data information hehe.
Awful lot of fancy gadget posts recently.
i'll take the candy girl. ('~')
I guess the candy girl, but if I could modify this to make me stronger, faster and all that stuff, then it's a given.
the choice is very obvious for otaku fellow, candy girl.
buy both this and the candy girl, put them together and u get sky girls.
Sky girls are pretty expensive then~ >_<
LOL X2
Suddenly I have a mental image of future wearers jumping higher, running faster, and punching harder than normal. (In short I see people all going Soulgain on others).
You reminds me of Kamen Rider. ^^
japan yet brings us another awesome!
I'll only get it if it can play that lobby music while I move
Prepare to have power armor my friends, the age of Space Marines is upon us!! Ia Ia Cuthlhu Fhtagan!
Wow... I can imagine cyborgs in the future...
Hmm.... Candy Girl will attract unwanted attention in my house, with parents being here orz On the other hand, it would be quite cool to walk in that whithout expanding any energy... But it will ultimately make us lazy beings if we become too dependent on it ^_^
I'd dress my candygirl in the suit.
Seeing that 2nd picture reminded me Sony's rolly. hahah!
With my right leg/side getting progressively worse as the years go by, 120mm mortar incident 10 years ago, and my left leg starting to go, I will probably be in a wheel chair in the next ten. And given the choice of a wheel chair or combination of the Cyberdyne suit with a Segways knack for balance, it's not hard to see where I'll be heading. Anyway, I don't need a Candy Girl. I have my own Asian Babe.
LOL, I thought it's some kind of Wii remote thingy!!! XD
my parents would beat me silly if they saw me walking like that
I wonder if you got ALOT of lithoim batterys will it power it it up???? It would be cool if someone mod a iron man or mastercheif costume onto it and they at a exopo or convention they lift someone or something up at ease.
Me rather have candy girl
