Unlike the XOS, the Cyberdyne HAL exoskeleton lasts 2 hours 40 mins without being attached to a huge cord, weighs only 23kg and will be available for purchase this October and cost about 500,000 yen. The main purpose of the suit is for rehabilitation purposes. Hmmm, thats about the same price as a Candy Girl - which would you rather have? Via Response and Sankei. HAL in action below.

im happy, gits is finally coming true. hopefully there will be a time to create neural uplinks and eventually make it so humans can last even longer than expected. 100 years is nothing compared to 10000 years. it may not makes us immortal, but it will allows to live alot longer im all for it.

Hmm.... Candy Girl will attract unwanted attention in my house, with parents being here orz On the other hand, it would be quite cool to walk in that whithout expanding any energy... But it will ultimately make us lazy beings if we become too dependent on it ^_^

With my right leg/side getting progressively worse as the years go by, 120mm mortar incident 10 years ago, and my left leg starting to go, I will probably be in a wheel chair in the next ten. And given the choice of a wheel chair or combination of the Cyberdyne suit with a Segways knack for balance, it's not hard to see where I'll be heading. Anyway, I don't need a Candy Girl. I have my own Asian Babe.
