XOS Exoskeleton

(Gadgets(32)
Fri 2008/04/25 10:55
Some folks with a lot of time and money on their hands built this XOS Exoskeleton with sensors built in that amplify humans strengths and speeds.
Looks like they need more money to make it last more than 40 mins and to get rid of that cable sticking out the back. The top picture proves that its good for bowling though.

Now if they make this prototype on say... a mobile suit kind of level, you could have yourself an eva (plugsuit and all). That'd be incredibly awesome :D

That's nice. If they get more funding, they could make it even better. I would love to see the final product!!!

Heh, it was featured on discovery channel some time ago. Too bad this is not a japanese dev, probably will turn out to be Iron man instead of gundam. The japanese are quite adamant about non-military uses for their robotics tech, i believe.

This reminds me of the halo book. The first prototype suit had a cable attached to it, next came the heavy battery then came master chief

Having this Robotic Skeleton on and that robotic Honda thigh thingy that allows you to run up to 50 mph. This would be a good combo. Too bad the cable for the skeleton will get in the way, o_o .

but look at it this way. It can be used for medical purposes like when someone is paralyzed and wanted to move. That suit will come right into action.

then again on the otherside.....It's a nightmare....I dont need to tell you guys what it is. surely you already know.
