Imploding Tanker Car

Imploding Tanker Car
See how a tanker car gets imploded. The last place I want to be is inside.

Even if you weren't squashed, you'd still be dead if you were in there :/

Imagine if you plan to visit planets with high gravity factor (Jupiter?) or closer to us, the abyss... This example is nothing in comparison, but still negatively surprising.

Buy the looks of it they most likely hooked it up to something of greater volume that was at a near vacuum. Then opened a quick valve and blam instanced crushed oil car.

It interesting thing is that it is the normal air pressure that is around us everyday that crushed the car. Most people don't realize just how much air weights. For example a cylinder air big enough to surround the Eiffel Tower would weight more then twice what the Eiffel Tower does.

I think they just did suck the air out and did check how long it did last cause some guy in the video says 760 after it went crunchy.
Maybe those 760 is the BAR which the tanker was able to withstand. ^^v
It looks scary though...

Those who spot air pressure as the cause are correct. From the Railway Preservation News forum: "To get non-pressurized tank car to implode, all you need to do is hook up a hose to a bottom unloading valve and open the valve while not opening the relief valve on the dome. Gravity will cause the liquid to flow out with no air flowing in to replace it. The tank will crumple long before it empties. "
