Preparing a trip to Japan? If so you may want to check out Hectors 10 steps that one should take when preparing to come over. He also has a link to this wallpaper of Shinjuku. I remember having a poster similar to this Shinjuku one back when I was a student in the UK. I used stare at it every day which kept me focused on doing things that I needed to do reach my destination (whats a destination?) of living and working in Japan. Some of the stuff that i did and focused on is listed in this article.
Yes~! This is what i really need for my Stand Alone trip-to-japan Plan!
just want i need...
I read that earlier today. Great guide, though ive been 4 times and am already fairly used to going there. Excellent wallpaper too - thats going on my laptop! Love the glow effect off the buildings in the low clouds.
Hmm.. A great guide to a good day in Japan.. Great job indeed!! ^^
adding to the fifth comment: If you are exclusively using a JR line, might as well buy a JR Rail Pass, which gives you about ten days usage of JR Lines, buses, and water bus. You can even use it on the Shinkansen... Just not he express one (NOzomi...) adding to the sixth comment: I don't think that's enough... concuring with nine
Neat guide, really usefull.
Noice!! Very2 useful ^^ *bookmarked*
If only Frodo Baggins carried around a poster of Mordor with "one does not simple walk in into it!" written at the bottom. Where does one find Japan posters though? >.>
Great tips there from Hector! Thanks for sharing!
Nice one! some useful info :) this is exactly what i have been looking for recently.
Great article and very useful .
Pssst, error 500. I'm saddened.
the light from the bottom right building is so bright; I won't live next to it.
Intresting article. Read both his and yours Danny, thanks for the tips.
Great tips...someday I will go back to Japan and might even live there....
Now, that's a beautiful wallpaper, and the 10 steps was awesome.
Beautiful wallpaper. The article was interesting, thanks. ^ - ^
mmmm ryokan... always wanted to stay at one. and i haven't been to an onsen in years! ;_;
Very useful guide ^__^. Definitely going to use it for my first trip to Japan.
A really nice guild. Bookmarked =] Are those just fog or air pollution in that pic?
low hanging clouds, and maybe a bit of fog mixed in.
Gosh, that is such a geat image! The top half of the picture reminds me so much of something from Ghost in the Shell! I can just picture a Jigabchi flying through the fog/cloud/pollution! =] Great guide too! I'll keep that stuff in mind if and when I go!
* I meant Jigabachi! Acursed keyboard! Lol
Wow...thanks for the link. *bookmarked* just what I need to plan for my trip late this year or next year. ^^
This would help when I go to Japan in August!!!
What a coincidence. My town is doing a student exchange for our sister city in Japan (it's over 100 miles from Tokyo, though) & if I get chosen (interviews are next week), I'll be in Japan from the 1st till the 12th.
Taking notes... tattooing them on the palm of my hands...
It is a good list, but sometimes people over prepare. Japan has everything all other countries have for the most part except clothes that fit big dudes. I think it is better to use common sense and find out more about the environment you are going. Different cities in Japan require different survival techniques.
US dollar value is keep falling, it's getting harder to go to Japan now T_T
Lurve the traditional Japan pictures depicted in kirainet. Ryokan, ofuro, temple, lake..
the guy knows his stuff planning on going to Japan with a church friend , guess this will help us thanks Danny and to the author of it :D
really informative... simple and straight to the point, danny, tell hector thanks for me...
