For those who have not seen the trailer yet - the second Incredible Hulk movie that opens in June.
I heard that many people didn't like the first movie - I personally like it - Jennifer Connelly being in it made it better too^^;

new main cast for the second movie and finally somebody his size to play with. no comments yet, since couldnt see much from the trailer itself. for the first movie, a lot didnt like it most probably because there is too much talking or conversation in it rather than action - that is what the viewers really want to see

The first movie was great. Lots of intensity, superb editing, excellent retelling of a classic story. Bana and Connelly were fantastic.

People wanted more "Hulk SMASH!" but I don't think it needed it. Ang Lee's Hulk was mature and thoughtful, not just a bunch of mindless action like most of the comic book movies.

You can say comic book movies should be all about action and pizzazz, but I prefer a little sophistication.

I think Edward Norton would do a fine job for this one. I haven't really seen the first one so I can't comment on that but heard many negative reviews about it so I sorta steered away from it...

If I remember correctly, Hulk's adversary here is named Abomination - another 'experiment-gone-awry' thing. I don't know much about his origin, though.

I'm very excited about the new Hulk movie as well. The previous Hulk movie wasn't as good as I expected it to be. I felt like it should have really been called "The Bruce Banner Story featuring The Hulk". I don't mind learning about Bruce Banner, but c'mon, they really overdid his role in the movie.

Look at movies like Spiderman or X-Men. They pretty much have their powers all of the time and make for an interesting movie since they're pretty much always that character. The new Hulk movie needs to focus more on The Hulk and his amazing abilities with a sprinkle of Bruce Banner.

I liked the first Hulk movie ok. Have to agree with Danny, Jennifer Connelly being in it made it all that much better ^___^! (I remember watching really crap movie about some girl who steals at a Target store but I kept rewatching it because it had Jennifer Connelly in it!!)

Most people didn't like the first Hulk movie because there was too much build up to Hulk's transformation and not enough Hulk smashing things (he just jumped around a lot).

@lostandfound: I think that's meant to be The Abomination (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_abomination).

Ah your talking about career opportunities. It was an epic movie, solely cause jennifer wore a tight white tanktop the whole movie. And Danny, this is my fav Jennifer Connely movie moment.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=x1GlN0EOeNs

The first hulk movie was ok, but it def needed more "Hulk Smash!!" and less "Hulk sad". So this movie looks to deliver the action which is what hulk is all about.

The first one was seriously terrible, and they had the nutsack to make another one, which looks to be good.

Personally, I thought the first one wasn't even worth watching.

Questions.
edward norton has a beard in the movie, but why is it when he transform into the hulk, the beard is gone?

why is it that only the lower portion of his pants got torn and not the upper portion in hulk mode?

in an interview with stan lee- he stated that there's no explanation as to why his pants never rip, it's just been accepted as a part of his transformation.

hope that answers your question. :)

i liked it too. i loved that in ang lee's version of the hulk, he was able to show the human side of the hulk as well as what the people craved, with the smashing, throwing and general 'roid ragery.

I liked the first movie, it was good. But I can't understand why they can't continue with it, as it had a cliffhanger and all.

This seems, pretty lame in my opinion.

I wondered some years ago who was the strongest between the Incredible Hulk and Juggernaut... I guess Juggie wins without breaking a sweat because of the Crimson Gem of Cyttorak (I remember about one episode of X-Men the Animated series where Wolverine was thrown away and through walls like a rag doll).
And Homer is much better in green:

Dude ! In the first movie, he throws a tank !!! THAT rocks !

Unfortunatly, beside Eric Bana acting, it was quite bad.
But this one looks more promising.

Sigh, I miss Lou Ferrigno...

I loved the first movie directet by Jonn woo. For me has been a good mix of action and deep emotions.
The only thing is all the actors are different in this new chapter...little upset, ^^ but we all know that Edward Norton is a grate actor!

We'll see...

first movie was made by Ang Lee not John Woo. if it were the former the hulk wouldve been dual wielding laser cannons and performing gun-kata in the first film .

I didn't realize the first one did well enough to warrant making a second. Personally, I thought it wasn't much of a movie, just CG showing things getting destroyed.
