Bankruptcy in Japan

Bankruptcy in Japan
You may know of a figure/gundam store called TJ Gross Net - was voted by Yahoo Japan as the best online store in 2007.

Looks like they went bankrupt and ran off with the monies from pre-orders.
GigaZine goes to the TJ Gross offices/warehouse to see whats going on as TJ are were not responding to mails or phone calls.
GigaZine arrive to find the place deserted and what looked like seizure of possessions stickers by a bank.
Pics of the TJ warehouse with figures and gundams viewable from the outside at GigaZine.

If you lived in the area and knew that there was nobody around and that the security devices had all been disabled, would you go in and raid the place for figures and gundams?

If i had preorderd a lot: first intention "I want my money back - and when I don´t get it i want at least other stuff", would take my jacket, slowly walk to the door, wait, say "Naah, i´m getting as nasty as those guys who stole my money... and i don´t wanna go to jail... so better apply to a lawyer"
If i had not preorderd: Whitout a doubt NO it wouldn´t be right at all!

@Tempest, I agree. I dont like the idea of taking something I didnt earn/buy. Its even more pathetic when someone takes something they can afford. Someone pays for it people, weither you believe it or not.

No way! I love figures but stealing is just wrong. ^^

It's a pity when good stores have to close down.

Going to jail for figures and gunpla?
Nah, the risk is too high, when compared to the potential benefits.
So no, thank you.

In japan? No. That would be going down their level.
Here in Brazil? Shure. Why? Because I just know justice will never be done. So if I preordered some stuff, I'd make shure my share would be guaranteed.

Also, justice is so freaking slow in Brazil that, if by some miracle the owners were arrested, chances are I would never see the color of my money back again.

The crime would probably prescribe before something was done.

took the money and ran? that's totally uncool. I remember one time I placed a reservation for a hi-end gaming rig at a local shop (they seemed very reputable). Then a couple of weeks later, they didn't answer the phone or anything. When i went back to the shop, the place was emptied out. Luckily, I did not leave a deposit or anything.

IF I was in the area... and I know that its possible to get away from it.

First I will locate the security room and check if anything is still working. If it is, I'll dispose anything that has me in it.

Then I will find ways to carry the goods I want which is pretty much ...none. Yeah, I'd take a Gundam/Figure and probably look about for lying around cash >.>

Then again, very risky and I don't want to clean my ass ready to be sitting in jail.

I can only dream.
