As some of you may already know by reading Mirai-chans story, Mirai has a younger sister. Azami sensei and I will begin designs on her shortly and wanted your input on the following:- 1. Mirai's sister is tentatively named "Kako" meaning "the past" as Mirai means "the future." But Kako is probably not such a nice name to have so am currently thinking of a name that goes well with Mirai. Was thinking maybe Shorai [将来] which also means "Future." Do you have any suggestions? 2. What sort of school uniform? Mirai is high school and her younger sister would be secondary school so their uniforms wouldn't be the same. 3. Pose - what sort of suggestions do you have? Take into account that the last time I asked you, most of you said that Mirai's sister should be about 12 or 13 which I think is fine. I also like the idea of pony tails too.

Toki, Mirai no toki, future's time. Eien, Eien no Mirai, everlasting future (is the structure alright there? ^^). With my (very) limited Japanese those are about all I can suggest. >_<

I'm not sure about the name either. Shorai doesn't really fit with a younger sister. I would think Mirai's child would be named Shorai. Since younger siblings tend to copy their older siblings, maybe Monomane (Japanese for copycat) and her position would try to mimic Mirai's, but she'd have a big smile and an overall excited look on her face that she's trying to mimic her older sister.

about the name i alway think like this Mirai = Mirin(some kind of booze) So..may be Karin = Kirin(The beer) Saki,Sagi = Sage Or Minayo,Minaho = Well is kinda Minna every body some thing like that(Not the myballs series)

and oh yes her personality... usually the big sister is the moe, cute, respectful type.. so make little sis, naughty, cheeky, adorable...energetic..always cause havoc but then turn innocent... gah...i guess u know what i mean...
I really like the post that Komari Kamikita figure has, i'd be all for that. It's not common seeing that pose anymore which is a shame.

I like the idea of juxtaposing past and future by naming her Kako, but if you think it won't do, then Shorai also has a nice ring to it. Perhaps she could be a miko? Or, if not, at least frequently wear traditional clothing, whereas Mirai tends toward more contemporary garb.

hmm a name for mirai's sister. well since mirai = future what about fuyu-chan. since the japanese translation of future is fuyu-cha, fuyu-chan sounds almost like it haa, anyway juz a suggestion.Sorry if it sounds corny.

I think the name Kako could work if you were to make her very traditional and old fashioned--in a very moe way, of course. ^_^ Personally I'd give her shorter spiky-ish hair--think Noe from True Tears--but that's just me. I'd probably make her hair red too because every character looks twice as awesome with red hair.
Thinking of a name for Mirai's sister... mmhh why not Mikomi (見込) ? If I am not wrong it means hope, expectation or future prospects. Well, that's an idea among lot of other ones ^^;
I like Shorai. Shorai matches Mirai well, and they should match!! They be sisters after all!! I think a red and white uniform, but I'm not sure what style. Probably somewhat similar to Mirai's, only different.... too similar would be boring right? 12/13 is a good age yus. One final thing, the skirt.... how long? Shorter or longer than Mirai's?(Taking into account the height difference ofc) I want to say shorter... but don't skirts get shorter the further they go through school? 1. How about any nanme that starts with "Ka" (like Kanna), so Mirai could affectionally calls her Ka-ko? Karai is out of the question, obviously >_< 2. Short skirts, loose socks, a real thick-looking long-sleeved blazer and a bowtie with ribbons. Something like Nagato Yuki in SHNY, maybe. 3. I'm not a good pose-coordinator, unfortunately. That said, she needs Chiaki's leaf-shaped ahoge FTW.

Agrees with above poster, also cheack out the uniforms in strawberry panic, if you want more closed uniforms. I also think it would be nice, if she had and item she always had with her, dont care if its a teddy bear or a rolly but and item would be nice.

I don't know why but I read #3 as what kind of suggestive poses do you guys have... What kind of personality does she have? a pose is heavily affected by the character's personality and mood. I personally see her as the type who would be either hugging her sister like the pic above or holding hands with her.
