Vii2

Vii2
China attempts to enter the Japanese market with a Japanese localized version of the Vii2 - have a look at the mascot, machine and the packaging at AkibaBlog.
Yours for a laughable 7,890 yen.

For now all I managed to find was a great review of the Vii 1 below.

They even got a rip-off of Cooking Mama, OMG, OMG!!
Btw, is cooking a sport (as in fighting not to let your food become charcoal)? I didn't know that!
A definite must-buy-or-die... or surely not after all. Please let me die of laughter then. *puts a no disturb sign and proceeds to laugh alone in his corner* ^^

No, no, you missed the point there. I was focusing on the point they even copied Cooking Mama (!) and that they would label it as sport...
I don't think I mentioned anything about China in my comment...
By the way, counterfeiting and intellectual theft happens everywhere. No one's spared, it's not a matter of one's better or worse and every country can be guilty of that.

A tsunderelolimaid for a mascot... while Harubin had the "pose" but not the "looks", the Vii mascot had the "looks" and not the "pose". -_-

Man, at the rate fakes are being copied and produced, one day I'm gonna find myself unable to differentiate between the two. Gone are the days when cheap copies with inferior functions flooded the market; China could actually sell this as a true console to people.

Why waste your money on such imperfect technology ?

buy the slightly expensive, but original product (better technology, support & availability), and you'll get more for the money.

No... Cheap does not always apply to the meaning of bad, and after all, lots of things are made in China. Take out that battery out of the psp, have a look at the sticker on the psp ... what does it say... "Made in china"

My Dear Friend, Do you own an iPod? if so check the back and you might notice something engraved saying "Made in China". If its so cheap go throw it in the bin or feed the poor with it. Go buy Sony MP4 players instead then if "made in china products r so cheap"....oh wait Sony stuffs are made in china too. Too bad.

Among many many other products, whether they be state-of-the-art or not.
I don't mind Made in China products myself, as long as they work well and for very long.

They stuff radioactive waste in form of bricks (that seemly "metal" brick) inside console rip-offs and wait for people to import them... :P

I wii on that vii

Oh my friend has a Vii 1. It's actually quite entertaining considering the cheap price that she got it at. The best Chinese ripoffs are the designer handbags... if you're not an expert at distinguishing designer handbags from fake ones, it'll be hard to tell whether i'm holding a real Tokidoki bag or not. ^^

I agree the Wii is a very fun console, plus to play with friends, but the problem this console have is the fact that, basically is a Gamecube 5.0. This console is still for the same generation that the first XBOX and the PS 2, so I don`t think that have much time of live...

Anyway, for the little price and the fun minigames deserves buy it!
