Well, I like Nagisa a lot even if she is too indecisive at times... Kotomi is a close second (if not ex-aequo), as she is really worth a (non-perverted?) hug or two or three... (just ask Kyou for that). Tomoyo has sadly dramatically dropped in my rankings after a while and Fuko is always funny to watch (especially a funky segment that I won't spoil here). Ryou, well despite the fact she's cute, does not appeal me... By the way, don't you feel Kyou and Ryou are almost like the Hiiragi sisters (Kagami and Tsukasa), if you consider that Kyou is a more violent version of Kagami? And for the adults, Sanae and the manager of the dormitory (too bad the latter never had a role in the series, she looked so beautiful).

Ben, I did not lie to you and I will confirm this again. All I have is a strong liking and feelings of affection towards certain characters of romance-themed female characters (Ayu, Miyuki, Haruka, Shana, Louise -to an extent-, Nagisa, Kotomi, Fuko, Konata, Kagami, etc.), all due to their personality. I never said nor implied I was fancying them...I don't anyway; I would if they were older, of course, but they have been created this way, so it can't be helped. I don't think I'd become a lolicon one day... Unless I change. "Never say never", right? But until then... I don't think I lied to myself or others. ^^
I understand what you mean D Blade, and I actually more or less have the same reason as you for my fondness of Shana and Louise. ^^ Well, the "more or less" part is maybe the fact that I find them to be attractive, physically, but not to the point where I get all lusty. ^^
Well, if they are attractive on top of that and that it is not about lust... There is nothing to regret or be blamed for, right? Otherwise I'd say "whatever floats your boat" and respect your choice by all means. As long as it (your way to express it, if that ever were to happen) wouldn't disturb others, it would be fine. :)
Hmmm... Nayuki, not Miyuki... Getting names confused now. I guess my memory hasn't aged well. I also love certain characters because of their catchphrases or reactions (Ayu's "Uguu~!" is one example) By the way, I could give a list of all my favorite female characters if it was to be asked and the reasons why. ^^
Hmmmm, i tought the neko in nekomiya meant that she at least had nekomimi :(. And this figure isnt really my thing, I'd prefer an older girl above the loli look (Mirai like mwuhahahaha) that has big 'eyes' :P.

It always amazes me how the Japanese get away with releasing models/manga/anime like this. In the UK there would be absolute uproar from the Daily Mail crowd. I know it's not actually stated that she's a child but it's certainly implied quite heavily =o)

Danny, in regards to that, all I can say about anime/game characters and dates of birth is that: - Putting a year of birth is realistic enough, but if you compare their supposed realistic age and the current time, they would all be old and cranky or dead of age by now (i.e. Street Fighter, the King of Fighters) - The makers of that game really wanted to hide the crazy contradiction this character and the setting of this eroge give. She is really supposed to be a loli (unless she suffers from a special condition that makes her age physically very very slowly) while she can manage a household and do chores such as cooking with perfection... Stuff like that. ^^
