A pic of some Naruto goodies that are given away with a Bala Ba Ba Ba kids meals. None of the goodies have been interesting enough to make me want to buy a kids meal so far though. Do they have decent goodies in your region that come with a kids meal? Have you purchased a kids meal for the goodies before?
Hmm, at least it's anime-themed... Here is so much worse, you never end with anything good (Missed the Yu-Gi-Oh! Promo cards though... I could have gotten a pretty penny with those if I knew). Never was enticed by the Happy Meal for the toys (Except when I was a kid, at one time they created those magnificent transformer-like soda bottle, french fries bag and big mac box... I had them at a time... Just talking about it makes me feel extremely nostalgic). Seriously.

I forgot all about those. I had the french fry one. That was sweet. Last time I had a happy-meal toy was when they did the Chistmass 101 Dalmations deal, had the one that barked jingle bells and strummed a guitar... it did under mysterious circumstances.
God... I can't remember what my last happy meal toy was... I know I was too old for them though lol... Probably like 13/14 when I had my last one....
Those old toys were great. I still have those old transforming toys somewhere. I'm happy to still have them, because I think most people have just thrown them away or lost them.
everything they sell here with happy meals is disney themed.....lol, i did get a shrek mug a few years back though
Disney-themed you say? I recently have heard they would not promote themselves via Happy Meals anymore (because of the effects of fast-food on health) or insane stuff like that... The Kid Meal's always come with toys from popular cartoons or upcoming new animated movies. Seems as Naruto is very popular with the kids over there, and look there you get a rasengan! OH JOY!
I remember in my childhood that I wanted happy meal because of the toys..the toys are decent...but now I realized that the food portion is like crap...tricking kids to buy happy meal for toys........
I wonder if those toys are still made in sweatshops...I oppose child labor...
since my sister works at Mcdonalds i know Australia is having Lego Bionicle and.. dunno what the girly thing is i remember Australia having NEOPETS Plushies.. EVERYONE wanted those , regardless of age...
OMG Neopets plushies??!! :cries: I would have killed for those when I was a bit younger... In the UK we got plushies sold in Claires Accesories. I have a Baabaa, a Noil, an Angelpuss and a Kadotie. Baabaa was the best, looked most like them.

I remember to Happy Meal my sister got when we went to Hong Kong some 10 years ago. It was a small but decent sized Hello Kitty plush. Was surprised at the time cos in the UK, all we got were mechanical toys which smelled of moulded plastic. Don't know the current situation but can guess it's some boring tie in with an upcoming kids' movie
Yes... Promotion of movies for kids. Cool Mc D toys are so far away now. Makes me feel even older.
Dude least its better than the lame crap we get in the UK. Best toys we've had recently were "The Dog" collection, which had been in Happy Meals before, but were so popular they got a 2nd go lol. I got 3 of th Dogs from the Display. Loads of people in my branch wanted them lol. The current toy is Spiderwick Chronicles related. Plastic-y and LAME!! One of the worst I remember were the Art Attack toys.. there were so lame... so were the boardgame toys... Some of the best toys I remember were Disneybased, princess's, when I was REALLY small. And My Little Pony toys, which you can still buy on Ebay, and I am sorely tempted... they had little jewels in them... I remember a Burger Transformer I had when I was really small. Can't remember if it actually came from MaccyD's though..... lol (Nice long rant about MCD's toys lol)

McDonalds have been getting terrible over the years now. The last great kid meal toys were the ones relating to the PIXAR movies. Adults were lineing up at McDonalds in the Raleigh, NC area for these toys. Burger King is starting to have better kid meals toys. Like the Star War toys.
i only bought happy meals when i was older, and mainly for the toys. i specially liked the finding nemo stuff.
I remember back when I was a kid that I had a Kid's meal from McD. It was a Tonka DIE-CAST METAL fire truck toy. THAT was a good toy. Everything after that was crap.

I collected Hello Kitty hair clips once... then they suddenly stopped with those because someone choked on one. ;-; Sometimes i still get kids meals just to get a toy that i can play with during class.
My hometown only got a McD's when I was already too old to get Kids Meal. I would buy them anyways if I liked the goodies... but never saw anything I'd like to have. I don't think Brazil ever had anime-themed goodies. I'm also avoiding fast food for a long long time, so I don't even know what are the goodies. But I do remember seeing some Shrek posters and stuff on some McDs (I'm kinda addicted to their ice creams... which are also very unhealthy, but I can't avoid that)
Rasengan!!! Wow that sucks. ANYTHING to trick people into eating that god-awful garbage I guess. That's a shame. McD's won't be happy until every country is full of little malnourished fat-asses just like here in the U.S. :-( I hate you McDonalds! I haven't touched it, myself, in about 14 years. I'd much rather eat at Mos Burger if I found myself craving unhealthy food.

I never purchased any Kids meal come to think of it. I guess that means they never had anything interesting for me to buy them. I know some people do get sets of everything for certain movie and such and auction them off on internet.
The last time I saw Bala Ba Ba Ba kids meal goodies was in Sydney, and that was because I accidentally ordered one due to my then poor spoken English. >__< I threw the toys away since the toys weren't the kind of toys I like. They were some kind of original McD characters I think.. or perhaps from some series I knew nothing about. ^^
here we get both anime and western cartoon themes. the last time that we've bought a Happy Meal was when McDo was celebrating Tetsuwan Atom's (Astroboy) birthday ^^
Don't really buy Happy Meals cause of the price. The YuGiOh promotion (2nd run) was the last Happy Meal Toy that i got. I missed some good cards though(White-Horn dragon and E-hero Electrum). Every other toy was really crappy though...
Used to buy when I was about 5-7. Some of those goodies are still here and now I want to know why I wanted them that time...

I once brought a burger king kids meal a few years ago because they did simpsons toys. I really, REALLY wanted the obese homer with the muumuu from the 'king size homer' episode. Im glad i got it!
Here, we got crap with crap on top of it. I don't even know why it's called a HAPPYmeal, the only thing it makes you is sad. Bought these " happymeals " when I was younger for some, um crap.
I never had bought a kids set for goodies, because there are only badies in kids sets here T_T

It's been a loooong time since I ate a Happy Meal; looks like I'm not going for one in the future as well. All those toys are probably with my younger relatives by now.
when i was a lot younger i use to make a fuss to my parents to get me one of those but they always said its a waste of money... overtime i started to think that way as well so, yeah... waste of money...
Over here, we didn't have different sets of toys for boys and girls until last year (I think), and was mixed until then. Because of that, when I visited the US as a kid, I was so impressed that they had Bionicle 'toys' for older kids, and wondered why Malaysia didn't have the same. ^^;
We always have hello kitty or Snoopy or those disney characters in Mcdon Canada.
When they get Avatar toys I think I'll be eating a few more Happy Meals.

Back then, in my hometown Macau, sometimes, the MacDonald's toys were kinda popular. There were times that people even formed lines outside MacDonald's in order to collect an entire set lol (still remember the Snoopy with different countries theme ones). I still have a box full of those toys I've collected when I was little. ^_^ Now I still eat Happy Meal from time to time, as sometimes the toys are cute, although most of the toys in the kid's meal in Portugal aren't very interesting at all.
I haven't gone to a Mc. Donalds in years. Here in California we have a chain called "In-N-Out Burger" that is vastly superior to just about any other burger joint.
Gave up on the toys when I grew out of actually playing with them. My aunt in HK is an insane collector of McD toys, though. Her apartment is one big display case. She lives with my grandma instead. o_O
HAHAHAHAHA Oh i used to love those as a kid. Only when I was a kid they gave us Figures of Ronald or his friends... It's amazing how these things can change...

Haha, I remember back in 2000 or so when Murder King was doing the pokemon promotions and my cousin went there everyday and got the stuffed talking pikachu that was like the golden trophy. And then they had the cards that did different things, I still have a "Furizaa" or Articuno in america, card somewhere that makes a screeching noise ^^;. I also remember when I was little when the Transformers were popular and Mickey D's capitalized on it, making their food items into toys. I went nuts for those things, and the McNuggets you could dress up like on the commercials, rofl. Ah memories of a fast-food tainted childhood ^^;
ive purchased a many kids meal for my daughters, though yet myself have bought one for the goodies.....though id gladly shell out the money if the brought out shuffle! charachters in the happy meals!!...though i highly doubt it will happen here
