Akiba Hobby has more pics of this Shunya Yamashita illustrated Muse Elf from Kotobukiya. Is 1/8 scale and retails for 7,140 yen - out in May.
Since I became a Dannycho.com reader my wallet has suffer. It seems that it will continue.
me too
not just wallet suffer but also great lost of nose bloods...
I tend to control myself since I'm poor college student. *sigh* I usually just pick up a coin series figure.
Agreed. To add to that, capsule figures are about the only things that'll fit in my room these days... ^_^;
Oh yes... I concur.... I spent over £250 in London on figures alone... But it's only due to reading/watching Genshiken that my Otaku dream has to own lotsa figures and crowd my room with them.
Where did you get figures in London? I'm going to be there next month, so it would be kind of nice to know where Otaku shops are :3
I'd like to know too, I visit there quite regularly.
Indeed, but then again..every time I can take one home from the customs office it's just like christmas..
indeed kind sir but not also our wallets but also our bank accounts as well XDDD
Also, thanks to Danny my dolphin is feeling rather empty these days due to overuse...
lol ^^
I concur. Spend quite a load of moolah on figures and anime merchandise because of this site. heheh
Well Shunya-san's work always looks awesome. But the paintwork on the armour in the pic at the top looks a tad shoddy... Just in some places. I probably wouldn't mind long run, seeing as thats a close up. I wouldn't buy it anyways. Not my bag baby.
I was surprized by the behaved pic Danny chose on this one. XD
Shunya-sama's sculpts are simply beautiful and i so wanted to get this one ^____^
no need say much.. only one word: WANT!
An elf? I don't see any pointy ears... This figure is awesome in terms of face and pose, but like Meimi said, the armor painting is far from satisfying. If I were to buy a figure of a female archer, I'd go for Kureha (the more famous version of the two).
Arn't the bow look elfish!?....
yes. will love to pointy ears as well. too bad she doesn't have any. :-(
As gorgeous as all the Shunya Yamashita designs are, this one doesn't really do it for me. It's the pose more than anything - it looks awkward and unnatural.
I wonder why wearing high heels and wearing skin revealing clothing good for combat...0o0"
You get a attack bonus against male opponents and can draw blood without even touching them
she looks to be holding a bow like weapon but i do not see any strings attached. ;-/
lol...so should I laugh at it???
Guess that a string would have proven too fragile, unless it was given separately (and that you'd have to attach it yourself). Or is it a magic bow?
i choose to believe it's a magic bow. one that shoots invisible magic arrows that will deal great damage to one's wallet. ('~')
I was thinking of arrows of light or energy but hey.
The armor looks cool, shiny!
I don't spend alot, only because I don't have alot. Problem is, what I do spend it on is fairly expensive.
Castoffable? =D
The Shunya`s figures are amaizing, the best for Kotobukiya for sure!! Maybe not the best, but one for me, please
