Nanoha Survival

Nanoha Survival
Its easy to spot a Nanoha otaku even when hes playing survival.
I've never played survival games but they sure do look fun. A former Microsoft employee used to go often and would tell me tales of how painful it is when one gets hit by a pellet. There are a few places in Tokyo and I should try it out one day.
Anybody here do survival in your region?

been invited, but never took up the offer. Should do really...

And that's not a true nanoha fan!! If he was, He wouldn't be cowering behind a tree, he'd be standing in plain sight, feet spread apart with his weapon pointed at his target in his best "you be f**ked" pose!!

Paintball for me. Nothing like charging ramboooooo! to the front lines with around 300 enemies around- they all have you in their sights.
I got shot around 45+ times when they counted the splotchs, only 3 bruises though. Im gonna charge with a life vest and swimming trunks next time (Paintball swimming theme >.<), then we'll count the bruises

Paint ball is what I participated in when I lived in Florida.

You should give it a try Danny. I'm sure you will enjoy it. Yes it can hurt at times. I have received bruises from being hit a close range. Some think I'm foolish for participating in something that can injure me. Hey, I ended up with some nasty bruises when I was into cycling in high school so...

I play airsoft and paintball games, not professionally though. Paintball hits (when not on the protective gears) give me bruises that last for more than a week. Though airsoft hits don't give leave bruises, they either sink a bit on the skin, or take out the first few layers when hit with a high powered gun at close range.

Airsoft is recommended for a closer feel of how combat is.

Remember to rehydrate every now and then when playing :D

I've played some quite unserious airsoft-games in my younger days. But I'm about to take it the next step so to speak, one of the reason I'm going to Japan is to get the JSDF uniforms and armor for our new team. We will be the first in Sweden to play as JGSDF.

But I really have to ask what they call Airsoft in Japanese? I can't find it in the dictionary, or is it just "survival"? :/

I'm a paintballer too (but I lean towards arena-style "speedball" than tactical "woodsball"). I own a bunch of speedball equipment. I've tried both: I just find it's more convenient to go shoot at each other for 5 minutes at a time than to be out there for half and hour crawling through the bush.

Never played airsoft but that looks fun too.

I use an M4 CQB, chinese guns are popular here coz they cost a fraction of the highend japanese guns but perform and has the same upgradable parts hehe go china!

The pellets don't hurt that much if you have the right equipment. My friend is really devoted to this sport and spent a mini fortune on it.
