Figure Tour

Figure Tour
Q: How does one make a tour around town more interesting?
A: My placing figures here and there and taking photos like how member melonpan does.
The potemayo tour here and the Tsuruya-san tour here.
Hmm. Mikuru looks like quite a leaner.

I probably should try the same thing in Tokyo and see what happens. Anybody up for doing it in your region?

Haha. It'd definitely be interesting to see people's reactions as you're doing this. I dunno if I'd be willing to do this around my area or anywhere really. Props though to ppl who would do this.

i also wouldn't do it here, but my brother did take pictures of his PVC monkey doll that he had when he went to japan, i'll try and find them later. Probably will send them to danny because i don't have a blog, nor is interested.

All of my photos are taken outside on the balcony of my house, when people pass by they stand down at the street looking at what I'm doing XD. I'm thinking of taking a couple figures to a park for a photoshoot probably a Gundam as well since that natural park looks like a jungle :P

Hmm, cool idea but my area sucks for that. I would have to go deeper into the City for some interesting places.
Though two problems:
1. You have to many idiots around here which don't understand it and prolly even go so far to steal the figures while your on distance to take a picture, or even just smash em on their skateboards. (I have seen stuff alike happening *sigh*)
2. I only have one figure... lol :/
But i love to take photos, so i really like the idea. Maybe sometime when i have some figures, if i go for some (I like those lucky star ones, cute. ^^)

True. Though, the "retard-/sane person" ratio isn't all that bad where I live.

I also don't carry around my figurines too much as I don't want to damage/break them unintentionally.

1. is so true unfortunately. Couldn't take my only figure out without any problems, there are just too many idiots running around and they got nothing better to do than getting on your nerves.

there is a chance someone will grab your camera... or maybe my figure <--- he/she must be an otaku LOL

Anyway i'm a little shocked when ssee the Max Factory Mikuru bending?? mine didn't

that's make ame kind of worry...

Mikuru's big eyes are the reason for her leaning.

Have thought of doing photoshoots in the city area but they are mostly near the entrances of office buildings which might not be allowed.

damm mikuru doin the gangsta lean.
And yes taking photos of figures outside has come into mind once or twice, but because of where i live, there is a 200% chance something will happen to my figures, resulting in me hiding in corner and crying like little girl.

Specially if I had the whole SOSdan... 3 of those which are on my priority list.

Great idea though! Specially the potemayo one. XD

It something I wouldn't mind doing in my town. But I see only 3 problem from doing it, 1) Not sure we have many interesting place to take picture, a few sure, but not a lot, 2) No camera(althought I could alway borrow one from my father lol) and 3)I would have no place to host them. XD
