"Dont loose to Akiba!" is the title of the news item at Iza (where you can find more of these pics) which talks about a recent cosplay event at Nihon Bashi. Nihon Bashi in Osaka is their equivalent of Akihabara where you can get a load of otaku goodies. SenakaBlog is based in Osaka and he brings you much otaku news from that area - his mascot is illustrated by Noizi Ito!
the maid closest is super cute >.<
sure is.
Just the closet? How about the maid herself? XD
QTF. She's stunning.
First thing I saw too. *BANG!* "Woah... she's cute~"
yea she is, she can come service me anytime :)
If all maids were that cute in Nihon Bashi, Akiba would be empty.
Empty of maid lovers ^^
damn right on the spot correct just love her smile careful though..i spot a trap, the face next beside her to the right in blue uniform...
LOL, I can see what you mean. In another part of the world I would have assumed all were women... but Osaka's in Japan.
I agree. so kawaii! can't help but smile back at the picture. ^^;
Agreed!
...10th'ed. :O
Agree
sugoku kawaii desu ne???
I'll watch it, looks good.
And the battle between otakus have begun... Nihon Bashi VS Akihabara!
hmm~ so many wearing tatakau(fighting/battle) maid costume. Sure is a sign of war!
A war for the souls of all otakus.
I wonder what she looks like after all the makeup is gone

waiiii want to go!
DENDEN TOWN!!! ^_____^ *natsukashi*
crap thought maids and first thing to come to mind was the bald guy in maid outfit poppin a squat >.<
Hehe ^_^;
Otaku war are coming...Maids with picopico hammer is going to dominate Japan!!!...
That maid's really cute lol. Man I wish I had a mascot done by Ito Noizi as well... =X
tried to go there, couldn't find it...
I also took a while to find the place, since I was trying to reach it from Namba. Took about an hour before I caught a glimpse of it (I spotted the giant Melonbooks billboard from nearly a mile away) and reached. They need better directions to the place!
too bad there no high res version of that pic... I'd likethat one closest to the camera as my wallpaper
now where's that dolphin wax?
Cute as can be.
And that's why costumers only have to win with competition. Great times to be in Japan...
Nihon Bashi is pretty good but I think Akihabara is still better. I think that Ito Noizi drew the mascot since she also lives in Osaka area lol.
another place for otaku goodies in Osaka (mostly fir computers and hardware i think) is den den town. Much cheaper than akihabara
Don't sleep on Nihonbashi. It might not be Akiba, but it is low key and you can probably find some rare items you can't get in Tokyo. I spend a lot of time out there in the Softmap and the Plus shops scavenging for games.
*writes Nihon Bashi (Osaka) in his list* so we've got Akiba, Nakano Broadway, Otome Road and Nihon Bashi as otaku lands. did i miss anything else? ^^
it doesn't matter which town wins. be it Nihon Bashi, Akihabara or Shibuya, to me all of them wins! ^^;
I can agree, for us it's better with alot of different places. I don't care which place is most popular, I just wanna go and visit them all.
Looks like it will be no time before the whole of Japan become an otaku world(like Akihabara)^^ Hope that happen
wow, they look cute :D
The first is cute!
Maids from Akihabara compared to Maids from Osaka... who would you choose, fellow comrades? (no "can i has both" please.)
I wonder if we have maid cafe in my region, will I go there or not. =P
Ahh, NiponBashi. I've been there. I went, I saw and was in awe. But I wasn't quite into anime and japanese culture as I am now so it was mostly about the electronics and video games for me. Back then, some ppl thought it actually was better than Akiba. And there were chances that you could get some amazing deals on rare items simply becuase the seller didn't know it's true value. Not sure if that could happen now tho...
we need girls like that at my Coles..
I wish well to both. ^^
