Figure Storage

Figure Storage
Lord mercy me! Me would never store my figures like this! Hes even got Ryuna in there.
Currently have most of my figures on display - on shelves and table.

The ones I'm "bored" of are kept in ziploc type bags in storage space on top of the bathroom.
The only ones in boxes are the SAFS - tend to throw boxes away due to lack of space.

Where do you display most of your figures?

Please don't start that 1st post stuff here too, I see enough of those on other sites. What's with people doing "First!" these days?

You wouldn't say that in bed with a girl would you?

As for this post, I keep my figures on my shelf, I never store!

Problem is its pointless and to some its just annoying.

At anyrate, that method of "figure storing" is just abuse.

Hasn't happened to me but when im out of space ill have it be adopted by one of my other friends; for free or for a price...depends

My problem is "1st post"?

I wasn't demanding you to stop, I was asking not to start it as a trend here, notice the 'please?'. Some blogs have it so bad that you have the first 20 posts saying

"FIRST!"

It degrades the quality of the blog, not to mention if it gets bad enough, you end up having the blog author use up their spare time to either program a script to remove those posts, or manually do it.

My post was never meant to be an "attack" on you, I'm sorry if you took it that way.

Agreed BandAid that thing of first post is just as annoying as it is childish.

Currently I have all my figures and gundams displayed in a Detolf and probably won't store any of them on their boxes because I love them all ^^

Let's just forget about it all and resume our lives.

Me swear I will never put anything like this and if i saw one i will rescues them out! And give them a proper home on my shelfs.

That's just a horrible way of storing figures.

I pretty much have all of mine on shelves. Some are on top of dresser since there's a lot of room there. I keep my current favorites next to my comp monitor so I can always have it in sight. :) Been wanting to buy glass shelves/display cabinets so I don't get dust all over em, but too lazy to put it together. hehe.

I wouldn't do that to my PVCs because they're just so damn expensive... gashapons, maybe, but at least sorted into bags. (I don't trust dumping stuff into cardboard boxes).

After having moved from my apartment into my house - yes, I was VERY glad to have kept a majority of my boxes!

As much as I want to buy and collect figures I am afraid I would end up like this. I had a big Gundam collection but over time I ran out of selves and they found there way into a large box. I still have the box, but it's not a pretty site, would take some time and glue to put it all back together again!

I wouldn't even do that to transport my figures, let alone keep them like that! They'd get all scratched and stuff. And looking at some of those figures, there's gotta be $500 or $1000 of figures in there! I somewhat doubt someone who shelled out that kinda cash for figures would do something like this, unless it was some really careless rich person.

My figure purchases are carefully controlled (when each one can cost anywhere between £40 and £400 with the average being around the £100 mark, you have to be controlled)

But on the plus side, I don't have too many issues with storage. But I would never store my figures like that, they would break, guaranteed!! and that is unacceptable for my resin kits!!!
