Tokyo Tour

Tokyo Tour
A nice clip that shows clips of Tokyo mixed with game and anime footage.
Which reminds me - I still have not seen Tekkon Kinkreet - any views on the movie? Looks great from the footage that I've seen.
Tekkon Kinkreet below.

Thanks for the footage. I really enjoyed Tekkon Kinkreet. The story did feel like it was missing some parts, but the animation is just stunning. There's also a lot of heart to it. Worth checking out.

TekkonKinkreet is something anyone who's an Anime fan, should see. For me, I thought the voice acting was great, and the work that the artists put into the movie was obvious, with such great detail, down to the teeny tiny little pebbles on the street.

Some things are better, some are worse, but it is definitely worth playing if you liked the original.

A new one would indeed be schweet.

Tekkon Kinkreet is a great, IMHO, although I have friends which could not stand it.

The style is gorgeous IMHO, rather refreshing in that it's anime looks with a twist.

Expect, though, the "Studio 4ºC" factor in it. The story, albeit charming, is weird and pretends to be. So you are not getting an explicite "and it ends like this". Be prepared to have to put your dose of interpretation in it.

Tekkonkinkreet is visually very stunning piece of animation. Very detailed and amazing backgrounds and design. Part Russia, part old Tokyo and part Hong Kong. Characters are also great.

Story-wise, great start, intro, build up and everything but it gets a bit lost towards the last part for me.

Nice vid, must visit Tokyo asap. But obviously, they could've mixed in ten times more anime clips in there; Tokyo is a main stage in so many shows

I went to see Tekkon Kinkreet in movie theater here last year and liked it a lot. In my opinion it's one of the best anime movies I've seen. Visually great and interesting story. I haven't read the original manga yet, but thought that maybe I should get it so that I'd be able to compare anime and manga and see the changes they made to the movie.

I have read the manga: nice. The anime movie looks great and promissing.

But seeing the trailer, the animation remind me of "MINDGAME". Is it the same crew/director (Nishi Robin if I remember well) ?
Anyway, MINDGAME is a masterpiece ! Probably the best animation movie I have ever seen. A true Masterpiece. It blew my mind, it is a wonder: fun, crazy, extremely creative, thrilling & moving => I advice it to all !!! Please check out.

I've yet to see Tekon Kinkreet. Just haven't gotten around to watching it.

From the visuals, i can tell it must be a good picture. The backgrounds kind of remind me of Imperial Boy's art.
