Dont know the correct romanization of this Patlabor Mecha [ブロッケン] but it translates as "brokken." Find more Digirama images of Brokken in action at Tamaki's. This one would make a great wallpaper... Patlabor looking robot in your house soon below.
Nice Composite pictures ^^ I like patlabor kind of retro seeing it
Love it. and buy it! hmm~ Revoltech has really fulfill many of my mecha model colletion dreams! Because i dont have the skill to paint a mecha figure myself
just watched patlabor: mobile police yesterday , good stuff!
nice pic. never really watched the anime though, so it's not on my must get list.
A huge Patlabor fan myself. I've got a number of the Revoltech Patlabor figs on my shopping list for Anime Central this year. I only hope folks there will have em.
I prefer mecha like this to Gundam to be honest.
Holy crap thats good. Seriously... till I read any of the comments I thought it coulda been from a movie or something. Thats so awesome.....
yup, the commonly accepted romanization for this mecha is Brokken. Some people spice it up by way of Brocken but that's just confusing. :) and yeah, that's a pretty cool one - I like the use of "water"
Japan really is the country of robots and what I would like to work in my future after I graduate from University which I don't know when will it be. After I graduate (I hope) I will apply for every major corporation that works with robots and hope one day to work in Japan with robots.
Eh we have the same plan ^^. Who knows we might end up working together in the future. Will head to Japan in about 3-4 years time after ending my University. Mobile suits shall not be a dream!!
Building a mobile suit might be rather difficult, since.. like what's shown in Doraemon Adventure, the cockpit of a mobile suit needs to stay static, so the pilots won't throw up, but how to make a cockpit that is always static in a mobile suit? In Doraemon, the cockpit is using an anti-gravitation technology, so the cockpit can keep its position static even when the mobile suit spins around.. Nobita harnessed this technology by making his mobile suit dancing around like crazy while he can just relax in his unaffected cockpit ^^ But then again, maybe one can just train and get used to the cockpit's movement.. rather than engineering an anti-gravitation technology that sounds more realistic ^^
Wow, you do know your stuff. MSGS Stargazer had one episode where Sven was spinning around in that... thing; I suppose that's how they train. The only thing I worry about is how a MS is going to stay upright after firing one of those 150mm+ cannons. ^_^;
Nah, it's just I happen to read 20th Century Boys and Doraemon. ^^ There are few interesting theories on mobile suit in those manga. Especially in 20th Century Boys.
love tamaki's photo composites. wish I had even half the figure photography and photoshop skills he has. ^^
Now I see why Japan was the first country to introduce mecha anime. Not only can they put it on screen, they can put it in the real world as well! *crosses fingers* I'll be waiting for the Gundam Ground Type *crosses fingers harder* *crack* OoO
even the exhaust is nicely done, i tink it really gives out the realistic look =)
Am thinking of watching Patlabor through crunchyroll.. recommended? ^^; (I'm used to the crappy sound already, so that's not an issue)
Robot and batteries, sold separately...
*Is bound to make a stupid pun but shuts up in time*
