This particular version of Gaiking is the one which was shown in the OP, Specifically, this is the "face open" version which gives gaiking a massive powerboost. Personally, I loathe the remake of gaiking and the definitive version for me will always be the 1970s original! Gaiking the great was really cool tho...
This reminds me of the Big O, which Im sure came far after this Gaiking series did. But same kind of look to the mechs.
