Danny, I just saw it, if you liked the first one, you will like the AVPR better. The action is better (although, nothing beats the huuuuge alien queen), but the storyline introduces too many characters and is mostly bunk. Fairly predictable, but okay. I would watch it while doing something else, so you dont feel your time was wasted. Kind of like reading this comment, lol.
AVP was bad, and AVPR was terrible. Horrendous. In fact, there were contradictions between AVP and AVPR. It's just another spawned sequel in what was hoped to be an interesting franchise gone astray.

i collect some of the Sideshow Collectible items... they are fantastic considering that most SSC items retains its value or go up in value. unlike anime figures T.T

Prefer Predator to Alien. Aliens head is awkward way too big for the body. I woke up the other day and turned on the TV and what was on? Predator 2. What an awful movie....just like the awful price for this figure. ^^;

avp2 - lets put it this way; action good, story junk. i always preferred alien since i started playing AVP on PC game. Alien gives you a whole new dimension to FPS games - you can walk like an alien on all side of the walls
Prefer Macfarlane's versions. You can play with those, and the details on 'em are good as well.

I agree...that is also the best AVP experience for me. ^^ And because of that I prefer the Predators over the aliens. :D Who knew such ugliness has a very advanced set of weaponry.

AVP2 is a lousy film. most said the movie is too dark. i haven't seen the film but personally i think since the 2 characters are sci-fi, it should be set in the future, in space and not in modern day earth and having aliens killing teenage kids. it has degraded to like a teenage slasher flick. :-(

Well, I liked Requiem a lot more than the first AVP, but I have a reputation for liking bad movies. It was properly R rated and the Predator kicked arse. It at least tried to live up to it's horror movie roots. And I like the McFarlane versions for pred figures.
I felt that the movie sucked big time. Mostly due to the draggy plot and lousy ending. When I saw that it was only ONE predator that comes to earth, I was like, are they trying to cut cost or trying to be lazy? The action are also nothing much to look at, only lots of gore.

Actually, the NECA figures for AVPR are excellent. I have the Alien Warrior and Predalien Hybrid, and they're both great. The Predator will be released soon in both masked and non-masked versions. AVPR was a horrible film. Honestly, despite the campy factor in the first movie, I prefer AVP1 to AVPR. On the whole, I prefer Predator over Aliens. Why would you choose to be an alien? They are just killing machines. Which although awesome sounding would probably be pretty boring to be.
The first Predator movie was good. In 1987 this film was an Hit. The second movie was not good as the first and I don't like the « Alien vs Predator » series. When I watch the first Predator movie (I have the dvd collector edition) I continue to like it. The choice between Alien or Predator is hard. But I prefer Predator because he can be a friend if you are a good fighter ^^ and his invisiblity mod is so great !!!
both avpr and avp suffer from too much humans being in the cast. AvPr was cool but the humans acting were almost intolerable. I've read a lot of the AvP comics and they shouldve made a movie out of the first AlienS (note the plural S) versus Predator comic book. A lot of people in that story but it also involved a Predator killing other Predators. I prefer Aliens to crabfaces partly because I love HR Giger's art too much.
Handsome Mr Preadator has a handsome amount of money needed to purchase it... I'll go for predator over alien any time...
This is actually my first time seeing Mr Predator below his neck (lol). Which basically means that this is another movie that I didn't watch. Had always thought Mr Predator was cooler, but I think I change my mind now.
AlienS VS Predator_ 2... why is it that an advanced civilization can only afford to send 1 Predator against so many Aliens.... Isn't it common sense to send a team at least? At least the title tells you what to expect.

It felt like "De-ja-vu" to me when watching this. Is Racoon City next to that town or somthing that the military and Umbrella decide to Nuke 2 cities in day?! It felt like watching Resident evil with bad actors and Lickers making babies XD
First one was good I thought. But I heard the second one had some stupid teen high school thing in it.
But I rather watch Aliens movies or the first Predator movie than this. My dad got me into Aliens when I was like 10 ^^. I do chose aliens over a predator. I do this because people think since the predator is a amazing hunter they can kill anything but aliens are one of their top hunting things I guess and I'm sure aliens are not like deer. I think the same thing for samurai and ninjas. Samurai>Ninja thats what I think. Plus without the samurai there would be no Star Wars movies since George Lucas watched a good amount of samurai movies and got some ideas from them. Really would like an edit button hope you can make one danny.
hey alien, and aliens were the two best, and they should have ended the film series there. they just ruin good movies with a bunch of sequels. look at the rush hour movies!
